Facility Manager

Facility Manager The Facility Manager will be at the heart of what makes NOVO Energy tick. What you will do As a Facility Manager at Novo, you will play a critical role in developing and executing maintenance strategies for our facility area, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and safety. You will join the team during design and construction installations with responsibilities of providing inputs from Facility Maintenance perspective to influence design decisions. You will manage the Site Logisgic, Facility Commissioning and Facility Engineering team for proper handover of areas and utility systems. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing health and safety policies, recruiting and developing a world-class maintenance team, and setting strategies for internal maintenance and outsourcing. Additionally, you will oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, control facility activities, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilitie s will include: - Manage Facility Engineers, Commissioning, and Site Logistic responsibilities during the design and construction installation phase. - Develop and implement processes for proper transition of areas and utility/process systems from the construction team to facility operations - Review and advise on the CMMS system and take lead in the development and implementation of such system - Provide proper inputs into the material handling requirements from a Facility Maintenance standpoint. - Develop and execute maintenance strategies for facility maintenance, focusing on availability and cost-effectiveness. - Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. - Create and execute plans for preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal facility operation. - Review utilities consumption and strive to minimise operating costs. About the position We are now seeking a creative and resourceful Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join our Communications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communication, with a passion for storytelling, creative content creation, and brand management. What you will do In your role as Communications and Marketing Coordinator you will be part of one of the smallest but most visible teams in NOVO Energy. Skills & Requirements - BSc/MSc Engineering, Economics or Business Administration, with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control. - Minimum 7 years relevant experience in cost control. - Fluency in English. About the role In this position , you will be part of the Facility & EPC organization of NOVO Energy working within the team of Technical Project Managers. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Act as a key integrator for the operational stakeholders ensuring their considerations and requirements are being communicated for consideration and/or inclusion in our design intent. - Maintain stakeholder inclusion during the construction phase by properly updating the different teams in alignment with their expectations. - Ensure that any requirement that has been missed is included in our change management process. - Capturing Lessons Learnt to address critical issues and prevent repeated mistakes​ - Define, implement and drive project requirements, workflows and plans while managing timelines, resources, communications, quality, risks, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, and any other issues that arise. - Partnering with the program leads, architects, tech leads and engineers, business leads and dependent system stakeholders to ensure milestones are met and project is a success. - Identify and document all project milestones and deliverables and keep project plans up to date at all times, including resource allocations, tracking hours, monitoring schedules, milestones, deliverables, updating percentage completion, etc. - Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results. - Track and manage change requests to scope and obtain approval if necessary. - Create formal project communication plans, key project metrics and dashboards for project status communication. - Conduct project evaluations, post-mortems, and drive process change to incorporate learning. Project Planner - Battery Cell Process & Equipment Engineering

What you will do In your role as Project Planner you will be part of the Engineering organization of NOVO Energy. You will have ownership of the detailed Engineering timeline including design, manufacturing, shipping, installations, commissioning and start of production related to the process and material handling equipment. In this role you are responsible for all the dependencies and maintain multiple schedules in the tool Primavera Cloud and collaborate with internal and external parties to secure quality outputs. You will be working closely with various members of the Engineering team and Technical Project Mangers, to develop and implement a plan - both in terms of time and quality. The environment has high demands on communication, flexibility, long-term strategic thinking skills. Key responsibilities include: - Develop, manage, and maintain the schedules in in the tool Primavera (Cloud) for project scope delivered by Engineering. - Enter or create new activities or dependencies when no previous planning exists. - Conduct the scheduling meetings to determine the requirements and dependencies within the Engineering team. - Monitor and track project progress and identify the risks accordingly. - Report the progress or the new schedule to the PMO planner on weekly basis. What You Will Do In your role as Manager Electrode Engineering – Coating , you will have a unique opportunity to form and mentor a team of skilled engineering talents within Battery Cell Process and Equipment, within the department Coating. You will have responsibility of all aspects of engineering management related to battery cell manufacturing processes in coating area. This includes designing and implementing new technologies and specialized equipment for battery manufacturing together with the help of your team. Your responsibilities will include: Responsible for overall engineering management related to Electrode (Wet) manufacturing process. From factory launch, including design and implementation of new technologies and Electrode (Wet) manufacturing equipment in cooperation with material flow, automation, new product introduction engineering projects for advanced factories. Skills & requirements: You have professional work experience of engineering leadership in fast-growing environments, particularly within the battery cell, semiconductor, electrochemical, or food and pharmaceutical industries. What you will do In this role you will be responsible for working with suppliers and a cross functional NOVO team for a specific area of Electrode Coating process and equipment. You will work through adaptation of coating process/equipment design to NOVO requirements, acceptance testing at the supplier site all the way to commissioning and sign off in our NOVO site in Gothenburg before handover a functioning system to production. Key responsibilities will include: - Provide process engineering support in slot die Coating of battery electrodes - Understand the effects of coating process changes upon product quality attributes and performance - Lead design reviews and FMEAs with Coating equipment suppliers and approve machine design concepts, technical drawings and documentation - Provide feedback and guidance to coating and mixing equipment suppliers to ensure equipment quality, technical specifications and CE safety standards are met - Develop and issue DOEs and schedule process and equipment trials at supplier sites as well at NOVO site - Lead the definition and release of standards for manufacturing Coating Process based on the trials and lessons learned performed on the way - Provide start up assistance by utilizing cross functional experience to drive process quality improvement and process efficiency improvement - Own and lead commissioning activities on site and support handover to production - Actively participating and sharing all relevant information within a cross functional team on a regular basis.
