R&D Engineer in Analytical Chemistry

We work with a wide range of samples and matrix in our well-equipped laboratory. The roles is placed in the Analytical Chemistry department that supports the entire Perstorp Group with expert knowledge in the fields of chemical problem solving using analytical chemistry. About the job The main objective for the Innovation organization is to develop new products and solutions. We are a global organization generating products for customers in selected market segments. Analytical Chemistry contribute to Innovation projects with expertise and analysis results. We support business in all types of customer relations where chemical analysis is needed. Analytical Chemistry also support the company´s QC labs with method development and troubleshooting. We provide investigations and results needed for REACH registration of products and other legal issues. You will work with analysis where you often need to adapt methods or develop new ones to be able to answer the asked question, often within a limit of time. Some work is coming in with short notice and some are planned in advance. To succeed you must be innovative and work effectively. You will take own responsibility for tasks and their progress, but you will be surrounded by experienced colleagues that are happy to coach you. Scantox Sweden är ett kontraktslabb inom läkemedelsutveckling, på labbet i Mölndal är vi specialister på organisk analytisk kemi. Vår verksamhet bygger på utveckling av analysmetodik utefter enskilda kunders specifika behov samt att utföra kvalitetskontroller för frisläppning till marknaden. Hos oss får du en varierad arbetsdag med påverkansmöjlighet och beslutsansvar för ditt arbete. Kunderna är primärt producenter och importörer av läkemedel & medicintekniska produkter, men även helt andra fält som livsmedel och miljöprover behandlas. Detta i kombination med vår breda instrumentpark med tonvikt på kromatografi och masspektrometri ger möjlighet att lära sig nya tekniker och utvecklas inom fältet organisk analytisk kemi. Scantox söker dig med universitetsutbildning med inriktning kemi och kvalitet. Du bör ha åtminstone ett par års arbetslivserfarenhet från arbete i den privata sektorn/industrin med analyser under GMP eller ackreditering (ex.vis. ISO17025), endast akademisk erfarenhet är av mindre intresse. Det är viktigt att du beskriver dina erfarenheter av GMP-analyser i din ansökan. Flera kritiska instruktioner är på svenska så du bör behärska språket och din ansökan skall skrivas på svenska. I rollen som analytisk kemist utför du kvalitetskontroll av medicintekniska produkter samt läkemedelsprodukter. Du arbetar laborativt enligt upprättade rutiner och ansvarar för att utvärdera och rapportera resultat i LIMS-system. Du måste ha erfarenhet av att självständigt analysera prover med ex.vis. UPLC/HPLC och bedömma resultaten. Har du också erfarenhet av Dissolution-analyser är detta mycket meriterande. Vi söker dig som är ansvarstagande och har ett noggrant och strukturerat arbetssätt. Arbetet är varierat då vi har många olika produkter för frisläppningsanalys och möjlighet att utvecklas inom många olika analystekniker finns. Arbetet är heltidsanställning med fast lön. Vem är du som söker? Naturvetenskaplig utbildning gärna i analytisk kemi eller motsvarande. Tidigare erfarenhet av laborativt arbete i produktion och kvalitetsarbete är meriterande. Erfarenhet från att ha jobbat på ett ackrediterat laboratorium. Meriterande med erfarenhet av service av instrument (GC-MS). Du behärskar svenska och engelska väl både i tal och skrift. Förutom din utbildning så har du ett genuint kemiintresse och en vilja att arbeta mot uppsatta mål. Du tar ansvar för dina arbetsuppgifter, slutför och levererar med rätt kvalitet inom satta tidsramar. Forskningsassistent i analytisk kemi (tidsbegränsad anställning)

Profilerade forskningsområden är inom material- och strukturkemi samt analytisk kemi. Arbetsuppgifter Syftet med projektet är att förbättra förutsägelser av maskininlärning retentionstid för isomera kemikalier. Kvalifikationer Vi söker dig som har minst en masterexamen i kemi eller motsvarande ämne. Specifika kunskaper av att förutsäga retentionstid, behandla icke-målvätskekromatografi högupplösta masspektrometriscreeningsdata och utvärdera prestanda hos maskininlärningsmodeller.
