We are looking for a Business Controller to join our team at Lindex Head Office in Gothenburg for a substitute position of at least 12 months, starting in September 2025. Your role in our team As Business Controller, you are part of our Controlling and Financial Planning team, working closely with management teams across the business. You act as a Financial Business Partner (FBP), supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring alignment with Lindex’s financial and operational goals. In this role, you are the main finance contact for one or several departments, acting as a trusted advisor and proactive partner. You support and challenge decisions to ensure they align with financial targets and strategic priorities. Your work directly contributes to improving profitability, optimizing resource allocation, and driving long-term value creation across the company. You play a key role in translating operational performance into financial impact and ensuring that departmental initiatives are financially sound and strategically aligned. You lead the budget process within your area of responsibility, including planning, instructions, workshops, and budget meetings. You are also the primary contact from our team toward the country organizations and are involved in driving initiatives in our new markets. A key part of your role is contributing to how we secure follow-up, budgeting, and data structure in line with our new market segmentation. You may also be involved in setting and following up on targets for the store bonus program in collaboration with de Commercial department, as well as contributing to the global bonus process. Additionally, you support the development and establishment of the strategic sales plan, ensuring it is financially anchored and aligned with our long-term goals. You also oversee the overall budget process and provide the business with forward-looking financial insights. Your responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You contribute to the development of business cases and ensure “One Source of Truth” in reporting and metrics. Is this you? We are looking to expand the Swedish Leasing Team at our head office, located at the Central Station in Gothenburg!   Your role in our team You will be part of the Retail Development team, within the Commercial Department, which manages and develops Lindex's Global Store Portfolio. You play an active role in shaping and executing, on a local level, all activities that support the Lindex Global Store Portfolio network to improve profitability in line with the Store Portfolio Strategy, as well as managing landlord-tenant relationships. This position involves many stakeholders, and you will collaborate with both external and internal contacts. You will work closely with our Global Leasing Team and our Swedish building and maintenance team. We understand that you want to know more about the role! You will prepare lease documentation and ensure compliance with both legal and company standards. You will also negotiate lease agreements for renegotiations, re-establishments, rebuilds, and new stores.
