The role involves managing factory CapEx implementation, preparing BAP/Memo investment documents, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors. It also includes leading production improvement initiatives, implementing new processes, and overseeing technical training within the Production Department, including Spare Parts and Preventive Maintenance. Close collaboration with Production, Factory Quality, and Product Development teams on technical projects is essential Position: As the Project Lead, you will: Lead and coordinate projects to fulfil the business objectives with focus on, Safety, Quality, Service and Cost, solid long-term engineering solutions based on feasibility engineering studies, and full compliance with local legislation and JTI regulations Be responsible for all factory CapEx implementation, BAP/MEMO investment process preparation and implementation Understand and revise the scope, time plans, risk matrices of the project to deliver the needed efficiency for the factory operations through effective communication and leadership Collaborate with all departments local and global as required to enlist and lead the projects, and with authorities as needed to fulfill the legal requirements. Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements, proper housekeeping and 5S of all areas within Engineering responsibility and through projects coordination and implementation of sustainable programs. Encourage "Best Practice" standard covering good Safety and infestation man agent. Engineering Manager AWe are looking for an Engineering Manager to be responsible for managing and leading the Engineering & EHS Department according to JTI's standards and legal requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for all activities, projects, initiatives, improvements, equipment related to Engineering, EHS & B&U areas within the factory organisation, including factory CapEx management and implementation. The role is the point of contact to Cluster Security Manager for Security topics. Position: As the Engineering Manager, you will: Lead and coordinate Engineering & EHS projects and improvements activities in order to fulfil the business objectives based on KPI's analyses, Technical Safety standards, 5S and Kaizen initiatives etc.). Lead B&U team to ensure machine runability and meet all legal and internal requirements on regular controlls for all related equipment (including but not limited to: Waste handling, HVAC, Buildings, Compressors, Water system, Steam system, Hydro Power, Electrical Network, Sprinkler System, Site services Oversee local authorities inspections results, Equipment inspection records and schedule. Act as point of contact for Factory Security, provide input and advise regarding Factory Security to the Cluster and coordinate requested actions relevant to maintain appropriate security level at factory Report and follow-up performance and provide reports to Management and rapid feedback to the shop floor Ensure that all planned CapEx projects are properly planned and executed to meet AP plan Plan solid long term engineering solutions based on feasibility engineering studies Provide CapEx planning and support to other functions all the other managers with correct information for them to fulfil their responsibilities in the ASP process; CapEx projects, BAP/Memo preparation, OpEx planing for Engineering & B&U, Capacity, Yield, Performance, HC, Traning & EHS Deliver Engineering & EHS objectives and improvements as per target, through proper planning, implementation and analyzing of actuals, following up improvement actions and continuous communication via visual management tools Manage the development plan and identify training needs for people and motivation to subordinates to ensure organizational capability to meet business objectives Further develop the team to grow in their existing positions and prepare them for further challenges and increasing responsibility aswell as preparing them for a possible promotion Ensure people have received needed information and training according to Global and Local standards, policies, procedures and requirements Act as a management representative and represent the company professionally at all times to the business community and costumers Ensure compliance with JTI Corporate Standards, Management systems, Global and Local Policies and Procedures, Improvements Programs, JT Contamination Prevention Program, Code of Conduct and 5S3R Achieve and maintain a safe work environment and ensure that workers who are under his / her supervision work safely Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent. Provide supervision, guidance and direction to all department members Be responsible for all communications provided to the department Conduct staff appraisals, talent reviews, amd performance related activities Define processes that are required to ensure that work is conducted in a way that fulfils all Nordic Snus Factory standards Requirements: University Bachelor Degree in Engineering Solid experience of working in Engineering in food industry People leadership experience Lean or IWS working experience Experience in Swedish Labor Law & Work Environment English and Swedish fluently written and spoken Proficient in Microsoft Office and preferable experience in MS Project and CAD-editors.
