To be successful in this role, you have: • Minimum 5 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and influencing stakeholders • Advanced training and proven experience in Retail Layout, Home Furnishing Retail Design, Graphic Design or Sales management with proven Project leadership skills • Experience from a leading position in establishing new CMPs • Experience from leading change through agile leadership in a complex business environment Your responsibilities As the Expansion Commercial Planning Leader, you are responsible for securing the budget, speed, quality, and efficiency in the commercial planning process. Take immediate action to secure any timeline disruption or cost increase due to changing orders. Create timelines for the commercial planning process, aligning with feasibility, concept and schematic design, secure the rough and fine planning, and deliver a portfolio of projects within expected quality, time and budget according to the Ingka Strategic Expansion Plan. As Expansion Commercial Planning Leader, you need to be proactive in working and collaborating across functions within Ingka, Inter IKEA Retail Concept and other relevant stakeholders to secure detailed drawing deliverables and commercial planning according to expectations and market pre-requisites. You will be leading the commercial planning, secure communication and stakeholder management, as well as providing regular detailed drawing production forecast updates to the Expansion Planning Project Leaders. Furthermore, you are responsible to coordinate the documentation and sharing of lessons learned within the commercial planning process to further drive improvements.

This is a senior leadership role with high impact across the entire value chain, driving innovation and transformation at scale. Drive operational excellence and cost-efficiency across global distribution and fulfilment networks, ensuring long-term profitability and resilience. Oversee the global core services offer, ensuring high-quality, affordable, and sustainable services that exceed customer expectations. Champion sustainability across fulfilment operations, with a strong focus on last-mile delivery and circular services aligned with INGKA’s sustainability goals. Develop global sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships that are ethical, data-driven, and environmentally conscious. Foster a culture of learning and development, building high-performing, inclusive teams and future leaders across global markets. What You Bring Proven senior leadership experience in global supply chain, logistics, or fulfilment roles within large-scale, matrixed organizations. Deep understanding of omnichannel retailing, customer fulfilment, and service operations. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen. Experience in leading transformation and change across diverse cultural and market contexts. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Passion for IKEA values, sustainability, and leading through people. Qualifications University degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent. 10+ years of senior leadership experience in global logistics, retail, or supply chain. Experience in developing and implementing global strategies and managing cross-functional teams. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
