Some years ago, we decided to break up with traditional HR. Why? Well, first of all, we didn’t like calling the most important part of our success story “resources.” Second, it gave us the chance to pick our own cool name — PaO, short for People and Organization. Now we're seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join our team in Malmö. It's a temporary position for a parental leave, from now until the end of February 2026. As a Business Partner, your mission is to co-create organizational success by translating needs and opportunities for improvement into actions. Working with stuff that moves us in the right direction, helps us grow, and challenges the organization to be the best it can be. What you'll focus on When you join, you’ll be jumping straight into some exciting workstreams, such as: Supporting people and leaders with a focus on change and growth. Refining our job architecture to set a strong foundation and connection to compensation. Starting up the Compensation module in our new HRIS, HiBob. Participate in scaling how we work with high-performing teams, using a structured approach. Take the next step in making AI integrated part of our WOW that changing and levering our work and changing the organisation. You’ll contribute hands-on, while collaborating with team members who are leading these focus areas. What you bring The most important thing is that you have solid experience as a People Business Partner. If you also have additional knowledge within Compensation and Benefits, that's a huge plus. We see lots of opportunities to further develop how we work with Comp & Ben, and your insights could help shape the next chapter in our People journey. You’ll also thrive here if you: Have 7+ years’ experience in the People area, with the ability to plan and execute independently Experience from a fast-moving business environment Are confident working with Swedish labour law. What You'll Be Doing Be the go-to contact for inquiries, helping resolve everything from onboarding questions to day-to-day support needs. Identify recurring issues and collaborate across teams to improve how we serve and support. Troubleshoot technical issues, often related to how we import and manage merchant data, and piece together the full picture for the customer - even when the puzzle is complex. Deliver a consistently helpful, effortless experience in line with our CX strategy - human when it matters, automated where it helps. Keep things moving behind the scenes - working with our systems to update info, track cases, and onboard new shops smoothly. Partner with Customer Success, CRM, and Insights teams to share feedback that shapes smarter decisions and better tools. What You’ll Bring Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken - this is essential for the role. Experience in a customer-facing support or service role (B2B experience is a plus). Confidence using digital tools and CRM systems to manage communication and track progress. A genuine interest in how things work - especially when it comes to technical systems, data flows, and digging into complex issues until they’re solved. Great communication skills - you can explain things clearly and make people feel heard. Problem-solving mindset - you don’t just follow scripts, you think ahead. You know when to investigate thoroughly and when to keep things moving - aiming for that perfect mix of insight and efficiency. A team player who’s proactive, curious, and always looking to improve the experience. Bonus Points If You... Understand how online shops work or have worked with e-commerce merchants. Can juggle efficiency with empathy - you solve problems quickly but never rush the person. Enjoy figuring out how systems connect behind the scenes - maybe you’ve debugged data issues before, or just love going down a rabbit hole to find the root cause.
