Key Responsibilities: Monitor construction progress and generate project status reports for managers and stakeholders. Manage essential project documentation, including plans, schedules, and scope statements. Track field activities, including utility locate coordination and related reporting. Assist with crew and equipment scheduling and logistical planning. Support material management processes, including purchase order tracking and receiving coordination. Participate in risk management efforts and support the implementation of mitigation strategies. Lead and attend meetings at the head office and on-site with internal and external stakeholders. Promote and enforce company HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) practices and culture on all job sites. Ensure subcontractor compliance with project standards, drawings, ITPs, and quality requirements. Handle project-related inquiries and escalations with professionalism and timely follow-up. Track milestones and verify that project deliverables meet scope and performance requirements. Conduct detailed project analyses and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Support operational mobilization and the gathering of project requirements from various departments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, and current registration in good standing with APEGA or ASET. Journeyman Powerline Technician with Red Seal Certification. 10–15 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within construction or utilities. Project management certification (CAPM or PMP) is an asset. Strong understanding of high-voltage powerline construction. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all civil aspects of ongoing projects, including duct banks, directional drilling, trenching, jack and bore, manholes, cable chambers, foundations (small to medium), excavation, aggregate supply, concrete work, and conduit installation. Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and Master Scheduler. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Assist the Estimator with cost assessments for materials and subcontractor services. Attend site meetings, client briefings, and bid reviews as required. Perform quantity take-offs and translate plans into accurate labor, equipment, and material cost estimates. Maintain a detailed and organized database of project information for ongoing and future use. Qualifications and Skills: Valid Journeyman Trade Certificate. Strong physical stamina and proper lifting techniques (able to lift over 50 lbs). Good manual dexterity and physical coordination. Mechanical aptitude. We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Supervisor to oversee day-to-day crew operations and contribute to the success of our projects through effective leadership, technical knowledge, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities: Supervise crews in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution systems. Review project plans and assist with estimating and scheduling. Organize crews, tools, and equipment for optimal efficiency. Ensure that all equipment and tools are available and used safely. Read and interpret construction drawings, switching plans, and single-line diagrams. Perform and supervise 25kV rubber glove work and tension stringing tasks. Mentor and train apprentices and junior staff on safe work practices and tool usage. Promote a positive, respectful, and safety-oriented work environment. Travel and stay away from home for up to 21 days when required. Qualifications: Valid Journeyman Trade Certificate. Proven experience with 25kV rubber glove work and tension stringing. Strong understanding of construction drawings and work procedures. Physically fit – able to lift equipment over 50 lbs using proper techniques. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
