About the role As the Site Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for the operations at your designated site. By diving deep into data, identifying challenges, and implementing solutions, you will drive cost efficiency and operational excellence—from tech innovations to process optimizations. You will lead a high-performing Terminal team of 5 to 10 employees, depending on volume . You’ll be responsible for fostering effective collaboration, maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment, and ensuring that the team works toward shared goals aligned with Airmee’s values and operational standards. Your responsibilities: Monitor and act on KPIs and metrics daily to ensure operational excellence at your site. Lead and optimize team performance at your terminal. Develop and implement SOPs to standardize best practices and drive continuous improvements. Lead projects, including process design and workflow improvements. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, while ensuring long-term capacity planning. Collaborate closely with staffing agencies, ensuring their performance and compliance align with expectations. Create a safe and positive working environment for employees and subcontractors. Ensure full compliance with work environment regulations, collective agreements, and actively participate in union negotiations. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on, with the ability to engage and lead others toward ambitious goals. You are data-driven and solution-oriented, always seeking new ways to improve processes and increase efficiency. Highly independent and proactive, you take initiative to drive projects forward. Requirements: University degree in economics, management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience with collective agreements and union negotiations is a plus. About the role As a Partner success manager at Airmee, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our delivery network runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be the go-to contact for selected last mile and linehaul carriers, making sure they receive the support, information, and coordination needed to deliver great service. You’ll be a part of our Carrier Management team and work closely with other Partner success managers and the Partnership Manager to balance day-to-day needs with long-term planning. Your responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for a selection of our last mile and linehaul carriers, ensuring they receive timely support and information Monitor daily performance and service quality using dashboards and KPIs, and share insights with both carriers and internal teams Collaborate with Dispatch and other teams to quickly resolve issues related to delays, damages, or customer complaints Assist in capacity planning by aligning vehicle supply with both short-term fluctuations and long-term forecasts Ensure scheduling and shift templates are accurate and up to date, and help fill gaps through close coordination with carrier partners Support the onboarding of new carriers and ensure compliance with Airmee’s standards, Code of Conduct, and operational routines Who are we looking for? What are we looking for? We are looking for a Database Engineer to join our team responsible for internationally scaling the services offered by Airmee. As a Database Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing databases, as well as optimizing our infrastructure to efficiently handle growing data loads. Our AWS Lambda (NodeJS and Python) APIs are connected to AWS RDS (PostgreSQL) instances. The entire system infrastructure is hosted on AWS. Proficiency in test-driven development is a must, as we strive for comprehensive test coverage of 100%. We place strong emphasis on well-documented and readable code, so we expect you to write clean code and document it thoroughly. You should be comfortable working with staging and production environments, ensuring smooth transitions between the two. You have considerable experience maintaining and scaling up databases, in particular on indexing databases and managing connection pooling and latency. Skills & Requirements We believe that you have: - a minimum of 5 years of experience managing large scale relational databases - experience working with database multi tenancy - experience working with large scale database indexing, database replication and high availability databases - experience working with caches in front of databases for load offsetting - have experience handling PostgreSQL instances hosted on AWS RDS - Monitor and optimize database performance using indexing, query tuning, and caching. - Optimize database performance and monitor using AWS CloudWatch and Performance Insights. It will be amazing if you also, - have at least one project on a public repository (any sharable repository would work) - experience working with Serverless technology, ideally on AWS Lambdas that make use of database connections - you are a contributor to the open source community -Perform backup and recovery strategies using pg_dump, pg_basebackup, and WAL archiving.
