We are excited to welcome Junior Prop Artist to our team in Malmo. As a prop artist at IO Interactive, you’ll work alongside industry veterans and passionate newcomers alike, gaining hands-on experience in AAA game development. What you will do: Work closely with our other prop artists, tech artists, concept, animation etc, crafting props and setpieces for our 007 game. Create models, textures and materials for hard surface, and sometimes sculpted, more organic assets. Support Tech Art with destructible versions of some of the assets Work on refining and adding final polish to already existing game assets, ie. Tweaking textures, adjusting materials, LODs, collision, and ensuring assets meet our visual quality standards and meet technical specifications. Actively participate in team meetings, share any insights or ideas for workflow improvement, collaborating with other disciplines such as technical artists. Set up assets and materials with our game engine Glacier, ensuring they function correctly with shaders, lighting and physics. Assist in identifying and fixing visual or technical bugs Who you are: Proficiency in one or more 3D applications such as 3DsMax, Maya, Blender etc. and experienced with different modeling techniques. Great understanding of asset creation tools and techniques Experience in setting up assets in game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine. Knowledge of optimization practices, such as reducing polygon counts, creating efficient UV maps, LODs and optimizing textures Experience with texturing tools like Substance Painter, Designer, Photoshop or similar software. Senior Accessibility Designer As a Senior Accessibility Designer, you will play a key role in making our games more inclusive by designing and implementing accessibility features that remove barriers for players. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to integrate accessibility from the ground up, ensuring our titles are playable and enjoyable for as many players as possible. What You Will Do Design and improve accessibility features for our games, ensuring they meet the needs of players with diverse abilities. Implement accessibility features directly into our titles and our in-house engine (Glacier), where possible. Partner with production to pitch, develop and maintain an accessibility roadmap, ensuring accessibility is integrated across development. Work closely with Game Design and UX Design teams to integrate accessibility into core game mechanics and UI/UX. Work with Tech and Gameplay Programmer teams to ensure accessibility considerations are embedded in development. Act as an accessibility advocate, sharing knowledge and best practices across the studio. Conduct accessibility evaluations and playtests, incorporating feedback from players with disabilities. Stay updated on industry standards, ensuring compliance with accessibility guidelines (e.g., XAG, WCAG, PlayStation/Xbox standards). Contribute to accessibility documentation, creating resources to guide designers and developers in best practices. Prioritize accessibility features that make the game playable for larger and more diverse groups of players. While the primary focus of this role is accessibility, responsibilities may temporarily shift based on project needs and development priorities. Who You Are Experience in Game UX/Design with Accessibility Focus – Background in game development, UX design, or a related field. Knowledge of Accessibility Standards – Familiarity with XAG, WCAG, and best practices for inclusive game design. Understanding of Player Needs – Awareness of motor, cognitive, visual, and hearing disabilities, with a player-first approach to removing barriers. Design & Problem-Solving – Experience with UI/UX accessibility patterns. Strong Communication & Collaboration – Ability to advocate for accessibility, present ideas clearly, and work across teams. IO Interactive is currently looking for a Senior Cinematic Lighting Artist to join 007 First Light, a brand-new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story. We’re looking for a Senior Cinematic Lighting Artist with strong experience in games and a sharp eye for character lighting. This is a hands-on role where you'll help shape the emotional and visual tone of our cinematics; not by leading the charge, but by delivering high-impact lighting work that elevates every shot. The position is located at one of our studios in Malmö, Barcelona, or Brighton. What you will do: Contribute high-quality lighting for in-game cinematics, enhancing mood, atmosphere, and storytelling.
