We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Field and Quality Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, and motors. The role requires strong technical expertise, field experience, and a commitment to ensuring equipment is delivered and maintained to the highest standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Field Engineering: · Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of rotating equipment at project sites. · Conduct on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and performance assessments. · Supervise contractors and vendors during mechanical equipment installation and start-up. · Provide technical support to field teams and interface with engineering and maintenance departments. · Ensure compliance with design/requirements Quality Engineering: Perform inspections and quality control checks on rotating equipment and associated systems. Review and approve Quality Control (QC) documentation such as ITPs, FAT/SAT reports, NCRs, and final dossiers. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes (API, ISO, ASME), and project specifications. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, site inspection reports, and quality audit summaries. Maintain records of equipment history, failures, and corrective actions. Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in field engineering and/or quality assurance for rotating equipment. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of rotating equipment types (centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, turbines, pumps). Familiarity with vibration analysis, laser alignment, and balancing techniques. Proficient in quality standards (API 610, API 617, ISO 9001, etc.). Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and datasheets. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Able to work independently in remote and demanding environments. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality. Preferred: Experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation industry. Certification in quality systems (e.g., ISO Auditor, ASQ CQE). Working knowledge of CMMS or QA/QC documentation systems.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector to join our construction project team within the process industry. The role is crucial to ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation installations are executed in compliance with Swedish regulations, technical specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Perform site inspections and ensure all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works comply with design documents, standards, and Swedish Elsäkerhet regulations. • Conduct quality control checks throughout the installation and commissioning phases. • Review and verify contractor work, documentation, and compliance with applicable safety codes and industry best practices. • Support commissioning and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems. • Interface with construction teams, project management, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and high-quality execution. • Document findings, issue non-conformance reports, and follow up on corrective actions. • Ensure traceability and documentation of installed equipment and systems. • Contribute to continuous improvement in installation methods, safety, and QA/QC processes. Mandatory Qualifications & Experience: • Valid Electrical qualification in accordance with Swedish Elsäkerhet regulations. • Proven experience in large-scale industrial construction projects, preferably within energy, chemicals, or manufacturing sectors. • Solid background in Quality Control for electrical and instrumentation installations. Desirable Qualifications & Skills: • Experience in steel mill or heavy process industry environments. • Understanding of industrial automation and control systems. Familiarity with instrumentation installation, calibration, and loop checks. • High voltage certification and practical experience in HV installations. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office toolkit. • Strong documentation and reporting skills. Personal Attributes: • Structured and detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality. • Proactive and communicative, able to work independently and in teams. • Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving project environment.
