MAJORITY is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join its Engineering team. This is a full time, in-person position based in Stockholm, Sweden. Developers may work from home up to 2 days a week. About MAJORITY Backend We’re a diverse bunch of skilled software developers with a passion for technical excellence. With a team of 12 backend developers we have built a system of nearly 60 microservices with a million lines of C# code. Recently upgraded to .Net8. We have a microservice architecture, fully in C#. built on a solid foundation of base functionality like observability, DI, messaging etc. We have a high pace of development, shipping major new features frequently. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain microservices built with .NET Core Write clean code with proper test coverage to support CI/CD workflows Contribute in design and architecture decisions within the team and across the organization Develop scalable, performant, and reliable systems Participate as a team member in agile deliveries Identify bugs and bottlenecks and resolve issues efficiently Requirements You have 10+ years of experience working with modern backend development practices, with focus on .NET Frameworks and C#. You will be responsible for handling the non-functional aspects of the system, including on-call duties and conducting POCs with new technologies to improve ease of operation and cost savings. Additionally, you will be expected to script and automate day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Assist the development teams with automation and architecture. Automate and drive security and compliance for PCI Level-1 and SOC2 compliance, DevSecOps. Improving the overall performance of the platform and all of its infrastructure with a focus on fast response time, scalability and resource allocation. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced fintech environment, providing legal support across a variety of business areas. The role You'll be joining MAJORITY's web team to design, develop, and implement user-facing features primarily for our website and back office application. Your work will focus on creating intuitive and responsive interfaces using modern technologies & frameworks like NUXT3, Vue3, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Your skills will be crucial in driving the technical architecture and roadmap of our team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, groom & prioritize deliverables, ensure the quality and performance of the frontend services through clean coding practices.
