And we have fun! The role Pigs Will Fly is seeking an experienced System Administrator to support the backbone of our game studio development infrastructure. From deploying scalable cloud and on-site environments to automating workflows and maintaining secure, version controlled and high-performance systems, you’ll play a key role in keeping our game studios development running at full speed. You’ll work alongside artists and developers,in a collaborative and fast-paced environment where stability, uptime, and innovation are everything. If you’re excited about combining your love for tech with a love for games, this is your next mission. What you'll do Handle security, server setup, upkeep, and administration tasks. Configure and manage identity and access management solutions. Provide general desktop and user support. Help users with everyday IT-related questions and issues. Set up accounts and devices for new staff and contractors. Install, configure, and troubleshoot new workstations and user profiles. Manage and maintain our version control platform Perforce. Oversee and support infrastructure hosted on AWS. Oversee and support infrastructure hosted on Google Works Champion and oversee operations security by analyzing and mitigating potential vulnerabilities. Setup and oversee Active Directory Domain Services. Prevent data loss via backups and minimize internal service interruption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system rollout, support, and issue resolution. Required qualifications Previous experience working in a System Administrator position or similar role. A university degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in IT, system administration, or a related field. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in your area and stay up to date with new technologies and best practices. Strong knowledge of administering and supporting Windows, Mac and Linux environments. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. And we have fun! The role Pigs Will Fly is looking for a talented VFX Artist to join our development team. As a VFX Artist, you will play a central role in defining the visual identity and immersive feel of our games, directly contributing to the player experience and our team’s shared success. Your main responsibility will be to create high-quality real-time effects that enhance gameplay, storytelling, and atmosphere—from explosive gameplay moments to subtle environmental details. This includes designing effects in Niagara, crafting shaders and particle systems, and working closely with other artists and designers to bring the game world to life in Unreal Engine 5. As a team we are working with an agile structure and mindset, where every member is part of the creative process, so being able to effectively communicate and provide and receive feedback is essential. What you'll do Design and develop high-quality visual effects for characters, environments, and gameplay moments using Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara. Support storytelling through cinematic effects, dynamic particles, and realistic environmental interactions. Build and optimize shaders to deliver stunning real-time visuals. Produce textures, flipbooks, and procedural effects using tools like Substance Designer, After Effects, or similar software. Maintain a strong balance between visual fidelity and performance across multiple platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure VFX is well-integrated into gameplay and cinematic sequences. Required qualifications A strong portfolio featuring visually impactful, real-time effects that support gameplay and narrative. Hands-on experience with Niagara, shader/material creation, and VFX in Unreal Engine 5. Familiarity with Unreal’s Blueprint system for integrating VFX and interactive elements. Proficiency in developing textures, simulations, and particle systems for interactive environments. A familiarity with 3D software like Maya, Blender. Have knowledge about optimizing particles and shaders for games or realtime applications.. Sharp attention to detail, motion, and the role of VFX in player engagement and immersion. Bonus qualifications Higher education / Bachelor’s Degree in Game Development or equivalent Experience using Houdini for complex simulations such as destruction, fluids, and smoke. Familiarity with using Unreal’s Chaos Engine. Experience with EmberGen for real-time particle simulations. You’ll craft rich, immersive audio experiences that bring the world to life—from evocative soundscapes to responsive, interactive elements that deepen player engagement. Your creative instincts will shape how the game sounds and feels, helping to define its emotional tone and atmosphere. Working closely with designers, developers, and fellow audio artists, you’ll contribute to a shared creative vision while ensuring sound integrates seamlessly with gameplay. You’ll also help build tools and workflows that support both experimentation and polish—enabling the team to deliver a cohesive, high-quality audio experience across platforms. As a team we are working with an agile structure and mindset, where every member is part of the creative process, so being able to effectively communicate and provide and receive feedback is essential. What you'll do Create and implement immersive sound effects, ambient audio, and dynamic interactive audio content. Collaborate with game developers, and fellow audio professionals to seamlessly incorporate audio into gameplay experiences. Deliver top-tier audio quality while optimizing performance across various platforms. Build and maintain audio tools, scripts, and workflows to streamline production and improve efficiency. Partner with our programmers to diagnose and fix technical audio issues. Keep current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in sound design and real-time audio. Required qualifications At least 4 years of experience in developing video games as a Sound Designer Proficient in FMOD in Unreal Engine, with a strong understanding of its audio pipeline. Experience with the Unreal 5 development ecosystem Ability to merge creative audio design with technical implementation skills in game engines. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills. As a member of the team you will shape user experiences that are both visually striking and functionally effective. Your work will ensure that the UI/UX is cohesive, accessible, and fully aligned with the game’s creative and design vision. You’ll take ownership of key UI and UX systems and workflows, working with the broader team to define best practices and uphold a consistently high quality throughout development. By sharing your expertise and contributing ideas, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a refined, intuitive, and immersive experience for players. What you'll do Collaborate with members of different teams to create seamless, intuitive user interfaces and experiences that enhance gameplay and integrate naturally within the game world. Lead the development and iteration of the game’s UI/UX, ensuring a unified visual language and user-centric design approach that supports the game’s overall artistic and functional goals. Create and manage a design system, maintaining well-structured, organized design files and ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
