Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the implementation of Volvo Trucks People & Culture objectives, strategies, programs, processes, and policies. Support the development of a business culture with high ethical standards in line with Volvo Trucks values, standards, and principles. Support change management and organizational development to improve business performance, process orientation, and cooperation across Volvo Trucks and the Volvo Group. Advise, challenge, and support Volvo Trucks senior management on People & Culture related matters. Guide, coach, and develop the People & Culture community in Volvo Trucks. Lead leadership sourcing, talent growth, succession planning, performance management, and competence development processes to secure high-quality leadership skills and competencies. Develop and implement compensation practices to support business needs, consistent with Volvo Group policies. Support the work with improving high engagement in Volvo Trucks. Promote Health, Safety and Wellbeing work throughout the whole of Volvo Trucks. Contribute to the sustainability work at Volvo Trucks with a focus on the human and people-oriented areas in the sustainability strategy. Take the lead in workforce planning to secure the short- and long-term competencies needed for Volvo Trucks. This includes attracting and retaining competencies needed to deliver business success short and long term. Profile The role requires a highly professional and inspiring senior leader with a global mindset, the ability to demonstrate clear strategic directions, and execute successfully upon them. You need to inspire, support, and challenge direct reports and develop motivation, knowledge, and teamwork in the entire organization. A passion for contributing to the transformation of Volvo Trucks is essential. You appreciate teamwork and have a collaborative way of working. Key Requirements: Successful international business experience within a global network. Have significant senior management experience from successfully leading global organizations. Commitment to supporting managers in developing people and the organization to become successful short and long term. Ability to lead and inspire other senior business leaders. Minimum ten years of senior line management experience in a global business context. Clear vision, global and broad mindset, and successful People & Culture leadership. Ability to work collaboratively within own organization as well as within other organizations supporting the business. Good business analytical capability. Experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching senior business leaders to perform and deliver top quality and outstanding business results. Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of leadership teams cross-functionally. Master’s Degree in a relevant field. What you will do As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing software solutions that improve vehicle performance, functionality, and overall system efficiency. You will define features based on legislative requirements and end-user needs. Your expertise in energy-efficiency software will be crucial for optimizing truck behavior and energy consumption. This position offers significant exposure to system design and implementation.
