We are now looking for an Application Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving internal and external sales of production solutions for Prepared Food products* with specific focus on customers in Europe but also includes a share of supporting markets and customers globally. You will report to the Commercial Manager Prepared Food. *Desserts, Liquid nutritional’s, Spreads, Fruit preparations, Dressings, Condiments, Tomato preparations, Ready meals, Soups and Sauces. The position is permanent and preferably based in Sweden, Spain or Italy, You will travel up to 30% of your time. What you will do You will support and drive our business by combining a good understanding of food manufacturing, especially pasteurization/aseptic and general processing of formulated viscous products, with a good commercial acumen and strong communication and leadership skills. Main responsibilities: Take ownership for the assigned market, and for achieving the business targets on sales and profitability. Actively review and follow up the opportunity pipeline and identifying new businesses closely together with Market Operations. Support global sales of our production solutions & services to existing and new customers, in close cooperation with the local market organizations. Create competitive production solutions with related value proposition based on our understanding of the customer and their expectations together with the markets. Quote selected processing units included in production solution. Plan and execute competence development in dialogue with the markets with respect to Tetra Pak portfolio. We believe you have Technical background with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Automation / other engineering. A strong understanding of food processing, technology and products. Probably at least 5-10 years of working experience within the liquid food industry. Strong business acumen combined with a good understanding of automation and process engineering. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, other European languages are considered a plus.
