Om tjänsten Till våra svenskbemannade fartyg behöver vi kockar och kallskänkor för tillsvidare- och vikariatsanställningar. Kock- och kallskänksjobben ombord varierar beroende på vilket fartyg det är och vilken tjänst. Arbetsuppgifterna fördelas inom teamet och består bland annat av: Arbete med personalmat. Förberedelse och tillagning av varma och kalla rätter enligt vårt koncept ombord. Hantering av beställningar. Du är ett av våra ansikten utåt och tycker om att ge bra service. Vi söker dig som är intresserad av både kortare och längre uppdrag, samt tillsvidareanställning. Ordinarie personal arbetar två veckor ombord och är lediga två veckor. Under högsäsong och vid vikariat kan andra scheman förekomma. Under dina tjänstgöringsperioder bor du ombord. Kvalifikationer För samtliga tjänster krävs: Kockutbildning och/eller restaurangskola. Gärna 3–5 års erfarenhet av arbete som kock eller kallskänka. God kännedom om livsmedelshantering och köksekonomi. Det är meriterande om du: Tidigare har tjänstgjort till sjöss. Innehar de behörigheter som krävs för ombordtjänstgöring. Vi söker dig som: Ser vad som behöver göras i köket och hjälper till där det behövs. Är energisk och kan arbeta både självständigt och i grupp. Trivs med att arbeta i ett högt tempo. Cooks About the Position For our Swedish-manned ships, we are looking for Cooks and Cold Kitchen Cooks for permanent and temporary employment. The duties vary depending on the vessel and position. Tasks are distributed within the team and include: Preparing meals for staff. Preparing and cooking hot and cold dishes according to our onboard concept. Handling orders. You are one of our representatives and enjoy providing excellent service. We are looking for candidates who are available for both short-term and long-term assignments, as well as permanent positions. Regular employees work two weeks onboard followed by two weeks off. During peak seasons and temporary cover assignments, other schedules may apply. During your periods of service, you will live onboard. Qualifications All positions require: Cook training and/or restaurant school. Preferably 3–5 years of experience as a Cook or Cold Kitchen Cook. Good knowledge of food handling and kitchen economy. It is an advantage if you: Have previous experience working at sea. Hold the qualifications required for onboard service. We are looking for someone who: Sees what needs to be done in the kitchen and helps where needed. Is energetic and works well both independently and as part of a team. Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Has good communication and teamwork skills. Is thorough and attentive.
