You will actively work with software development as well as testing activities using Hardware in the Loop (HIL), Model in the Loop (MIL) and physical vehicle tests. You will work closely together with other Architects, Program teams and Chief Architect for Volvo Car OS.  You will contribute to SW implementation and have a close collaboration with System designers, SW architects and SW developers. We have the responsibility of all releases of models, drawings, parts and product numbers within Volvo Car Group. The department is working closely with both engineering and car projects within the company. What you’ll do As a PLM-Engineer in the team “Product Specification and Configuration”, you are responsible for implementing changes and updates of Volvo Cars products in the PLM-system both during the development phase and in running production. You will also be a part of developing Teamcenter configuration from a Product Specification user point of view. You work together and in cooperation with various development units within Engineering, Program Management and Manufacturing among others. You need to be able to work in multiple projects and you will act as a representative for your area. As a PLM-Engineer, you are working in a team of colleagues with similar responsibilities in various car project.   What you’ll bring You have worked in Teamcenter and/or KDP or other equivalent PLM-system. We believe you are passionate about cars, both from a customer and technical point of view and have a logical mind-set. You are also a team player. We believe that you have Technical University or equivalent working experience. You will use both Swedish and English in the daily work, therefore it is important that you are fluent in these languages (spoken and written). As a person you are very structured, and detail oriented alongside that you have an analytical, solution-oriented and logic mindset. You are communicative and you have the courage and the ability to cooperate with several competences. You have a high level of engagement and strong enthusiasm. It is crucial to be good at cross-functional work and networking since collaboration with many stakeholders will be part of your daily work.
