Job description: Let's introduce ourselves At Software Factory and Enablers (SWF&E), we design rigs and are working with base technology integration, core systems application integration, software, and electronic domain integration all the way to complete software and electronics delivery striving to maximize the test-value. We work with test strategies, enable continuous integration, continuous deployment and delivery across R&D, and operate the complete baseline. We are also expanding our software factory community and have a responsibility across R&D to build our continuous build and configuration flow.   You will belong to Integration & Verification Orchestration, within Software Factory & Enablers, we are a team with the purpose to coordinate integration on the complete software and electronics system level for all Volvo platforms. We are now looking for a colleague who can help us bring it all together from functional needs to well defined release candidates in car products, via continuous integration and automatic testing flow. What you'll do As an Integration Leader with focus on Complete SW&E integration, the assignment will be to coach and lead integration of a complete baseline, safeguard the quality and intent of Baseline Qualification and Extended testing, over time. You will be part of a team that will drive the daily work from merge to release.  You will orchestrate the integration flow at the complete level both internal SWF&E as well collaborate with integration leaders at all engineering units within Volvo Cars. With your deep knowledge of the product, you will work to make sure focus is to always have a working master – through pushing for deliveries, prioritize incoming request, review content and test results and initiate fault tracing. And it is important to be able to summarize the product status, additional risk assessment and data driven recommendation for regular and high iteration of continuous decisions. You will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders both inside and outside R&D.   What you'll bring You have experience from working with SW development and it is beneficial if you have experience from Volvo Cars development process and programs. You also need to have excellent communication skills, great collaborations skills and be fluent in English. We would like to see that you are courageous with a high level of energy, have high integrity and professionalism, have a holistic view, and have a high knowledge of embedded SW and automotive. You have the ability to lead people, listen and coach; you are analytical, structured, and also collaborative.   Required qualifications / skills:  M.Sc in Electrical and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience. At least 10 years of experience from working with integration driven development including software test and integration. Experience in integration driven development from large scale software product development including hands on experience.  Experience in SW CI and CD from an integration perspective and knowledge in evaluations of definition of done to pass an integration event in an electrical system. Preferable if you also have a driver’s license (B-level) but not mandatory.

Job description: Let's introduce ourselves At Battery Hardware section we are responsible for the development of the high voltage batteries for Volvo Cars. We cover the development from advanced engineering, through concept development, industrialization and maintenance (quality). We are an international team working according to the Engineering Collaboration Framework (ECF), responsible for managing systems and parts that enable battery electrical functions. We take full ownership of the design work, developing components (Build to Print and off the shelf) and producing all technical documentation required to enable our supplier base to manufacture the parts. In Electrical System and Components team we are now looking for a talented Group Design Leader who will take over the responsibility of different battery components.   What you'll do As a Group Design Leader (GDL), you will be part of the Electrical System and Component group within the Battery Department. You will have overall responsibility for the time, technical performance, and cost of your assigned components. A key part of the role involves planning and tracking deliveries, managing reporting systems and issues, and maintaining close collaboration with suppliers, manufacturing, and Procurement within a cross functional environment. What you'll bring We believe our candidate should have a strong interest and understanding of automotive electrification domain. You have an electrical engineering background, completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree with relevant working experience. You have been working as a Group Design Leader before or have been working as a Design engineer or Developer in relevant area, having experience with Teamcenter and Catia. You have strong communication and leadership skills, with proven ability in stakeholder management, particularly in collaboration with suppliers.
