We are now looking for a Financial specialist for the IMC Business Steering & Operations Finance Team in Älmhult. You will be responsible for invoicing, recording financial data, and supporting financial follow-ups. You will contribute to the integration between financial routines and project operation and be the connection between business, project operation, accounting, and ensure monthly closing routines. You will also be recording sales and income correctly and fulfilling internal policy requirements. Ensuring preparation of invoicing document, handover and retention of payment collection notifications to IKEA markets. Your main task is to stay close to the Range Area (RA)/Home Furnishing Business (HFB) that you support. You will be the main contact to ensure that the range and product development is based on analysis, business insights and facts and navigating vital processes from a full business perspective, both in good times and in challenging times. You will lead HFB performance management within a range area, requiring a passion for identifying business opportunities in data, an analytical and business-driven mindset, and strong communication skills. You will proactively provide insights, recommendations, and scenarios. You need to combine your passion, tools, and approach to ensure that your range area creates a better everyday life for the many people. Your main responsibilities as a RA/HFB Business Navigator are: Which products are not loved or needed anymore? What does the “fancy words” mean and how can we convert them to realistic but ambitious, numbers and goals? Do we plan to sell AND produce on same level? The answers to these questions you will secure through existing processes and in collaboration with colleagues in the range area. Identify the unique X-factors for each business, product type, region, and sales channel. Collaborate with your passionate colleagues in the Range area to discover opportunities and mitigate risks. By using analyses to support scenario planning, you will help us drive sustained growth and excellence. It would be great if you already know the IKEA Business model, our strategic landscape, and our Product Development process (DNP/Improves). But if you don’t, don’t worry, everyone has been where you are, and most things still remains to be done. In the role as Business Navigator, we believe that you have a university degree in Business/Finance/Economics (or a related field). You have previous experience in business performance management and financial management with at least 2 years of experience. Knowledge of calculation systems, MS Office package, reporting tools and business information tools such as Power-BI. Fluent in English, spoken and written. Furthermore, we wish you to have experience from working with performance management, business controlling/analyses or similar topics.
