Your Role As Head of Unite Team 2, you will: Lead a team of subject matter experts and specialists in R&D. Drive performance based on strategy, project goals, and product roadmaps. Set SMART targets, manage resources and budgets, and monitor KPIs. Recruit, onboard, and develop team members while staying ahead of tech trends. Collaborate across teams and functions to ensure alignment and innovation. Contribute to product development, maintenance, and documentation. Identify opportunities for innovation while maintaining business priorities. Be an active member of the R&D management team and lead broader initiatives. What You Bring MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Health Informatics. 6–10 years of experience in software engineering, IT, telecom, or healthcare. Proven leadership in global, multicultural environments. Understanding of Ascom’s product portfolio and agile methodologies. Advanced skills in technical excellence, analytical thinking, and project management. Intermediate proficiency in communication, customer focus, and decision-making. What You Will Do: Design and implement manual and automated test cases based on requirements, using Kotlin. Execute tests and analyze any failures. Troubleshooting. What We Are Looking For: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or Computer Science. 2-3 years of experience in software testing. Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience in test automation with Kotlin, Python, or similar. Experience with agile testing methods. Personal Skills: We believe you are a responsible problem solver with a sense of ownership and a willingness to learn new technologies. You have a passion for software testing and feel comfortable working with other test engineers and developers to ensure systems are designed for reliability, performance, and quality.
