Senior DevOps Engineer

ICT Senior Dev Ops Engineer As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer at Ascom, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining business application software. Your creativity, innovation, and technical expertise will help solve new and ongoing challenges related to the tools used within Ascom. You’ll be responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that aligns with business requirements and adheres to coding standards and technical design. You will be our go-to person liaising with our suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the momentum in our projects. Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities… Gather User Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into system functionality. Full Delivery Life Cycle: Execute end-to-end solution design and delivery, from concept to deployment. Design and Documentation: Create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and propose solutions. Integration: Integrate solution components to create a fully functional system. Quality Assurance: Develop solution verification plans and implement quality assurance procedures. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Document and maintain software functionality, troubleshoot issues, and upgrade existing systems. User Feedback and Deployment: Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback. Adherence to Standards: Comply with project plans and industry standards. Continuous Improvement: Ensure software stays updated with the latest features. Our ideal candidate has… BSc Degree: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field. Proven Experience: Minimum of 6 years’ work experience as a DevOps Engineer or Software Developer. Test-Driven Development: Familiarity with test-driven development practices. Interactive Applications: Experience in designing interactive applications. Leadership skills: Experience as a team lead or other leadership position is desirable Skills and Competencies Software Engineering Tools: Proficiency in using software engineering tools. Business Application Tools like Dynamics 365 Sales or similar. Documentation Skills: Ability to document requirements and specifications effectively. ICT Senior Service Desk Engineer

We are looking for… An ICT Senior Service Desk Engineer with an appetite to learn and with a willingness to delve into details when problem solving. A skilled professional who enjoys working on a variety of systems and with people at all levels of the organization. As an ICT Senior Service Desk Engineer you will be joining ICT Operations and Support in our Gothenburg office. Please note this is predominantly an onsite position. Main focus of this role is to deliver friendly and efficient service, advice and technical support to Ascom’s own personnel. In this role you will work broadly in IT and user support, and more specifically with frameworks and tools such as Windows OS, Microsoft 365, network technologies and other global platforms. You will administer permissions and rights in Active Directory, so it is important that you have experience in this area as well.You will be working with our internal systems making certain that end users within Ascom are supported as well as ensuring that Ascom’s communication systems, security systems, centralized storage and server platforms are operative, continuously developed and secured. Please note that this role does not involve working with our own proprietary products or systems. You will balance your time between service desk and infrastructure tasks in the Gothenburg data center. You will also participate in an on-call rotation every 6-7 weeks to support our critical systems with troubleshooting. In this role you will be reporting to Global ICT Infrastructure Manager. Our Ideal Candidate has ... BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related technical discipline Certifications MCSE or Microsoft Azure Administrator 3+ years working knowledge and experience with Azure environments and configuration and administration of physical and virtual servers (i.e. Dell & HPE hardware, VMware & Hyper-V Hypervisors) in a data center environment. Good knowledge and competence within the area of LAN, WAN, WiFi and TCP/IP based communication platforms Good knowledge within the area of Cyber Security including firewalls, reverse proxies, load balancing systems and certificate infrastructure. Deep competence with Office365, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online platforms. Deep competence within the areas of Microsoft AD, Entra (Azure) AD, Azure Administration, Azure governance, Azure Identity as well as client/server computing and networking in an international multi-site corporate IT environment. Good competence within the area of virtualization technologies, storage, and underlying hardware platforms. Good competence within the area of DNS management, internal as well as external. Ability to speak English fluently as well as to, within the competence area of this position, write general and technical documents. Ability to conversational Swedish. Ability to work alone as well as to co-operate with others both inside and outside the team and the company. Being a team player, eager to grow and taking ownership (sometimes even outside of mentioned accountabilities). Last but not least, you have good interpersonal skills, and you are comfortable communicating with people from all levels and backgrounds. Junior Regulatory Affairs Engineer

We Are looking for … A Junior Regulatory Affairs Engineer with an appetite to learn and with a hands-on attitude to support compliance activities, collaborating with both internal and external actors. In this role you will also be supporting the regulatory team with product safety and compliance. You contribute to Ascom’s success by maintaining regulatory access to key markets. As this role will work closely together with R&D, a technical background is a necessity. It is essential for effective collaboration and understanding of the complex aspects of research and development process and where they connect with Regulatory Affairs. Having a solid technical foundation provides the necessary toolkit to thrive in this role. This role is based in Gothenburg office. What you will be doing … - Obtain, organize, file and retrieve regulatory evidence of compliance. - Stay updated about applicable regulatory and quality requirements; monitor standards and legislation regarding product safety, certification, and conformity, i.e. Radio Directive, EMC, etc. - Support product and service development teams to ensure compliance to design controls and design and development processes. - Support in maintaining regulatory conformity, certifications and approvals for Ascom Mobile devices developed or supplied by Ascom including regulatory requirements for product approval and certification for intended markets. - Maintain relationships with test houses, third party suppliers, partners, auditors, etc. and support in managing tests, audits and regulatory compliance with different external parties. - Participate in and support internal and external quality audits in coordination with the Quality System Manager.
