Jeppesen is looking for a Software Application Developer for our Digital Solutions & Analytics implementation department based in Gothenburg, Sweden. About the position The Digital Solutions & Analytics implementation department is responsible for the configuration and delivery of our Crew and Operations management products that ensure airlines all over the world can optimize their crew members work schedules and aircraft utilization. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly skilled international team of specialists that solve some of the most challenging optimization problems in the world, value diversity and learn from each other. For each implementation project we set up a team of 5 to 10 employees that work together to fulfil the client’s specific crew or aircraft planning needs to make sure they can go live with the product and receive the value. As a Software Application Developer, you will: • work closely with our clients and other departments to configure the solutions for our clients’ business needs • deal with technical challenges and programming tasks as well as handling client expectations and building long-term customer relations. We are looking for team members with expertise in software development and requirements gathering showing strong communication and co-operation skills. Interest and expertise in solving problems and being solution oriented is highly valuable in the role. For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the airline business and that you see yourself contributing in teamwork, workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering and implementation process. Training Environment Technologist

We are currently seeking a Training Environment Technologist to join our Crew Academy team based in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will play a crucial role in delivering training on Crew Management products to our customers. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and acting as the point of contact for all Academy-related matters. Your main responsibilities will include system installations, such as scripts, users, and processes, which are essential for conducting courses. You will work closely with various teams, including Service Management, Hosting, IT, Head Teachers, and Instructors, to ensure the smooth delivery of courses. The role will involve a diverse range of tasks, both technical and administrative, as well as strategic in nature. You will collaborate with instructors and head teachers to ensure the successful delivery of courses, with support from product Subject Matter Experts. Your responsibilities will encompass both reactive and proactive tasks, ensuring the efficient functioning of the training environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the "Academy JIRA", which serves as a platform for tracking and managing tasks, as well as the technical roadmap for the training environment. You may also have the opportunity to manage improvement projects to enhance operations of the training environment. This role offers an excellent growth opportunity for candidates with a wide range of skills and interests. The ability to independently drive tasks and strategies efficiently is essential. To excel in this role, it is required to have technical experience with some Jeppesen Crew products. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for requirements and processes for all products installed in the Training environment Handles end user/first line support for all training environment issues, troubleshoots and provides interim solutions Prioritizes, coordinates, and escalates issues Maintains process documentation and step-by-step guides Understands and develops training environment technical Business Requirements Manages and controls risks and opportunities related to the training environment Drives processes and improvements to the training environment according to Crew Training roadmap (e.g. move to SaaS, RHEL upgrades) Project manages improvement projects with dependencies on the training environment Ensures classroom facilities are working prior to course Ensures course environment is installed and working and supports Head Teacher / Instructor in setting up a course Responsible for set-up and management of the Application user permissions Approves and tests (Including Non-functional, Load and Performance Testing) new releases, service packs and Hosting Configuration changes / third party tool upgrades and approves environment as ready for course delivery Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): Experience with managing Jeppesen Crew Product installations Experience with Python.
