JTH conducts research and teaching in computer science, computer engineering, and informatics. We have two growing departments in these areas, with approximately 50 employees. Your placement will be at the Department of Computer Science and Informatics. We offer education at the undergraduate, advanced, and research levels. Teaching takes place in bachelor's, master's, and engineering programs ranging from graphic design to software development and cybersecurity. The research conducted at the department supports the educational offerings. We invite you to apply for the position as laboratory engineer in Digital Design and Web Development at the School of Engineering Work tasks You will primarily work with preparing and conducting labs and workshops at the Graphic Design and Web Development Bachelor's program. This will include labs and some lectures in subjects such as front-end and back-end web development, programming in JavaScript, UX/UI-design, motion graphics and graphic design. You will also handle administrative tasks, answer students' questions, and supervise thesis projects. Requirements An applicant needs to have: A digital design oriented bachelors' degree in computer science or informatics A degree on advanced level within user experience design or similar Proficiency in front-end web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as Node.js and npm-based development for back-end applications Skills and knowledge in user interface design, including digital prototyping using Figma Skills and knowledge in motion graphics using Adobe After Effects Basic skills in graphic design using software from the Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of emerging AI-tools within the area of digital design and development Experience of student supervision In addition, for this position, you need to have: Good ability to collaborate and plan your work Good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have qualifications such as: Knowledge in 3D-modelling Knowledge about marketing, social media and content creation Previous teaching experience We offer you: A temporary position in a dynamic working environment at a collaborative, internationally connected, and globally oriented university. Doctoral student in Product and Production Development

Are you passionate about sustainability and product realisation, as well as eager to make a real impact? Join the School of Engineering at Jönköping University and the Department of Product Development, Production and Design. We are a team of approximately 35 colleagues engaged in education and research on the development of products and production systems, as well as their integration. We are now seeking a doctoral student to strengthen our strategic research program GRACE. GRACE aims to support the long-term success of the manufacturing industry by addressing the challenges of the green transition. Through integrated and platform-enabled product realisation, GRACE contributes to enhanced competitiveness and sustainability in the manufacturing sector. About the position As a doctoral student in Product and Production Development, you will conduct research within the project COMPASS – Performance indicators and shared understanding supporting sustainable and circular product realisation. Your main responsibilities include: Conducting research such as case studies, literature reviews, and workshops Developing and analysing methods, tools, and frameworks related to product and production development Contributing to the integration of sustainability into product realisation processes Writing and publishing scientific articles and presenting research results Collaborating with industry partners and participating in project meetings, workshops, and conferences Engaging in interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange You will work in a dynamic research environment with strong industry links, focusing on advancing knowledge and methods for sustainable product realisation and integration across organisational levels and functions. Requirements To be eligible for the position, the applicant must fulfil the general and specific entry requirements for third-cycle education in Product and Production Development.
