Mechanical Design Engineer – Transmission

Responsibilities In this position you are responsible for design and development of gearbox and driveline parts. This can include all development phases from conceptual design to start of production. The Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate closely with procurement, production, aftermarket, prototype, quality, ME, electrical, as well as CAE, and homologation departments. The Manufacturing Engineering Team We are looking for a new teammate to join the Ghost Squadron! The role As a Manufacturing Engineer for Paint at Koenigsegg you should have an engineering background with a high sense of quality. In this position you will lead the development and implementation of new processes as well as improving existing ones'. What you'll do - Own our paint shop and its processes as your main manufacturing domain. - Define and lead equipment and tooling projects, from technical specifications to commissioning. - Define and/or develop effective methods to determine quality of paint. - Lead a cross-functional project team. - Layout and facility planning for Paint production. - Perform capacity studies, including time-studies, work balancing as well as Value Stream Mapping (VSM). - Create processes and procedures to help the company meet set goals within performance and quality quotas. - Develop standardized manufacturing operations and working routines under existing regulations. - Develop, plan, and coordinate engineering tasks and internal processes. - Secure that manufacturing operations and working routines comply with existing regulations. - Drive process improvements to utilize and optimize equipment, reduce process variation, process waste, and secure availability. - Coordinate P-FMEA/DFM analysis to provide Manufacturing Engineering inputs to R&D. - Lead and support technical reviews and issue resolution activities in running production. Junior Supplier Development Engineer

Duties In this role, you will act as the key interface between the Production Quality- and the Supply Chain organization. As the key interface, you will be the primary contact person for Supplier Quality related issues escalated by Production Quality and take lead on the production stoppers when they are Supplier Quality related. In this role, you will also be responsible for approving long term actions from suppliers and collect the 8D reports as well as ensuring that our suppliers processes are effective and robust since they affect the company’s ability to deliver in accordance with our zero-defect principle. This position is located at our main production facility in Ängelholm Sweden. You will report directly to the Supplier Development Manager. Occasional travel, both domestic and international, will occur. - Skills & Requirements In this role, you will be required to make critical decisions that can have a direct impact on the production status if safety, environment, or quality is at risk. Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Platform

The Koenigsegg Software & Electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software, electronics and supporting tools for all Koenigsegg’s hyper cars. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced software engineer with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and further advance the embedded system technologies in our cars. While the responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains, it offers you a uniquely dynamic environment to push the capabilities of our software platform to a new level. The development activities are primarily focused on the embedded systems (ECU management and electromechanical integrations). Composite Technician

The Koenigsegg Composite Development department team works with the future of composites. Our close, positive and enthusiastic team develops and manufactures parts and technologies for our past, current and future needs. We also deliver standards and procedures so that the quality of the parts can be consistent and marvellously perfect. Our awesome team now needs to grow and we are looking for technicians to help us develop procedures and deliver high quality parts. The parts will then be passed on for final assembly to either our prototype department, aftermarket department or production. We produce both parts and tooling for prototypes and production vehicles. Preparations for tooling and working with master tooling is also a part of the job. There will also be times when we try out new materials and test new innovative processes. The materials require care and attention to detail and shape. You will learn about different lamination and surfacing methods and work closely with a skilled international team. Finishing and repairing composites will also be a part of the job. No previous skills with composites is needed as we will educate you in every aspect possible. But it is meritorious if you have previous lamination skills. You need to be accurate and have the ability to work focused both in the team and self driven. Fabricator and Welder

We're seeking a talented Fabricator and Welder to join our dynamic team in the automotive prototype department. As a Fabricator and Welder at Koenigsegg, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of exceptional and high-performance sports cars. Working in our prototype department, you will fabricate and weld components to exact specifications, helping to bring our visionary automotive designs to life. Key Responsibilities - Fabricate and weld components using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and arc welding) to meet precise specifications and quality standards. - Interpret technical drawings and schematics to produce accurate and precise components. - Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of fabricated parts into our prototypes. - Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery used in the fabrication and welding process. - Ensure inventory of materials is well-managed, and supplies are readily available for production. Need to have - Proven experience as a Fabricator and Welder in the automotive or related industry. - Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest quality work. - Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. - Safety-conscious with knowledge of proper safety procedures in an automotive workshop. - Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Meritorious/Extra Qualifications - Welding certification is a plus.
