About the role As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Qbtech, you will work across a set of browser-based products and shared frontend libraries that support clinical workflows, forms, and patient-facing experiences. This is not a typical UI-only role. The frontend is responsible for shared architecture, reusable UI foundations, accessibility, localization, API orchestration, error handling, and reliable user-facing behavior across multiple applications. You will work closely with product, QA, backend and other engineers to ensure a stable, maintainable, and reliable experience across apps, browsers and devices. We are also adopting AI-assisted engineering workflows across our teams. We are looking for a strong frontend engineer who uses AI as a force multiplier, while maintaining high standards for correctness, testing, maintainability, and ownership. Your Responsibilities Build and maintain complex React and TypeScript applications Shape frontend architecture across multiple apps and shared libraries Improve shared UI patterns, accessibility, and localization Handle async workflows including data fetching, mutations, retries, and recovery flows Improve performance and runtime behavior in user-facing flows Use AI tools responsibly to improve development workflows and delivery About you You are a senior Typescript/React frontend engineer who enjoys owning architecture, improving foundations, and solving real-world product problems. You also have practical experience using AI tools in your day-to-day work, while maintaining strong engineering standards. About the role As Senior Cloud & Data Platform Architect, you shape and operate Qbtech's cloud and data platforms. The Platform Team drives security engineering, infrastructure quality, and reusable patterns that enable product and data teams to deliver quickly and safely. Your scope covers platform governance, runtime hosting, data engineering infrastructure, and internal integration platforms - including ownership of networking, deployment architecture, DNS, and identity and access management. You combine hands-on engineering with architectural leadership to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems supporting AI/ML and analytics workloads. Success in this role comes from broad technical understanding, adaptability, and a drive to simplify and evolve Qbtech's platform. The role has a hybrid office set-up; at least 3 days in the office in Stockholm. Essential Duties and responsibilities Lead the design and evolution of cloud governance, security frameworks, and best practices. Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure modules, blueprints, and playbooks using Infrastructure as Code. Architect AWS solutions for hosting, networking, data, and integration - serverless-first and well-architected by design. Design and evolve Qbtech's data platform across ingestion, processing, and serving layers (e.g. Iceberg, Glue, Athena, Python and Java pipelines). Ensure the platform supports scalable AI/ML and analytics workloads. Build internal integration services using event-driven patterns. Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Promote cloud, data, and security best practices through documentation, reviews, and mentoring. Participate in shared on-call responsibilities for core platform services. Who are you? Cloud & Security Strong experience with AWS core services for compute, networking, data, and identity management. Ability to apply governance and security principles at scale. Infrastructure & Architecture Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation (e.g. Terraform, CDK, or similar). Experience with event-driven and serverless architectures. Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and incident management practices. Ability to design solutions that balance simplicity, scalability, and portability. Data & Automation Knowledge of data lake and ETL frameworks (e.g. Iceberg, Glue, Athena). Proficiency in Python and Java for automation, data engineering, or AI workflows. Understanding of modern data and AI/ML pipelines. Professional skills Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Adaptable and able to connect domains, guiding teams through change. We are looking for someone who has  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. At least five years of relevant professional experience. Proven background in cloud or data platform engineering and architecture roles. About the role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) for backend works in our product engineering team with systems / services development for the Qbtech platform. Primary implementation languages are Java & Kotlin. The main focus of the work is coding (development) but an SSE works with the entire software delivery lifecycle. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden and will report to Engineering Manager.  There is no possibility of a complete remote role. This is Hybrid with at least 3 days a week from office. Essential Duties and responsibilities Qbtech’s development of products and services are controlled by Qbtech Quality Management Systems, international standards and certificates as well as specific laws. In accordance with those, essential duties and responsibilities are: Develop and document new product features & stories. Code reviews for peers. Maintain and improve legacy code. Manage DevOps and cloud infrastructure provisioning. Manage software deployment. Troubleshooting/investigation of incidents and bug fixing. We are looking for someone who has Extensive development skills using Java and Kotlin. Strong problem-solving mentality. Knowledge of the Ktor framework. Knowledge of at least one well known test framework such as Junit. Good knowledge of network infrastructure related to web application (examples: load balancer, firewall, security groups, CDN etc.). Experience of working with service provisioning for at least one of the following cloud services platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure). Experience of an infrastructure as code (Terraform). Experience with containerization (Docker). Experience from working with Agile development methodologies. Excellent written and verbal skills. At least 6-8 years documented experience.
