We are looking for an ambitious self-starter to join the Royalty Operations team. This role is based in Stockholm and will be a key player in tackling our operational challenges as Spotify’s business continues to expand and change. The Royalty Operations Team is the owner of royalty configuration and reporting and the operations lead for all royalty related processes across Spotify’s music, audiobooks and podcast verticals. The Analyst will be a key part of this team, ensuring our financial systems are up to date, reporting deadlines are hit, and satisfactory responses are provided to our rightsholder’s inquiries. What You’ll Do Work closely with the accounting teams to configure Spotify’s music, audiobook, and creator licensing agreements in our royalty system; implement rates and products, run test calculations and summarize findings for sign-off. Responsible for fielding royalty-related questions from rightsholder’s finance teams and coordinating with internal finance and licensing teams to provide timely feedback. Key team member involved in Spotify’s month end close royalty calculation; perform checks to confirm calculations correct, summarize findings, and escalate issues to the team lead. Assist with the monthly reporting process to Spotify’s rightsholder partners, including daily interaction with the offshore technical team responsible for data generation/validation. Participate in projects to enhance Royalty systems, automate manual work and manage other process improvement initiatives. Who You Are BA/BS degree. 2+ years experience in a financial or data analyst role; equivalent experience in a royalty or licensing related role at a record label, digital service provider or music publisher a plus. Excellent writing/communication skills; experience communicating complex concepts to external parties. Solid technical skills and data analysis experience (e.g. SQL). Organized and flexible individual with proven ability to manage multiple projects at once. Coachable self-starter eager to learn new concepts in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a creative, passionate, and experienced Product Manager to join Spotify. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, delivering, and evolving the suite of products available to music publishers today. What You’ll Do Drive discovery, definition, development, and iteration for music publisher tooling, with a primary focus on Spotify for Publishing. Define strategy, objectives, and plans for a squad with strategic industry impact. Partner with internal teams focused on music publishers and songwriters to understand priorities, unmet needs, and more. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners to prioritize and deliver on a strategy and roadmap. Contribute songwriter/producer-focused product expertise across various projects and company initiatives. Who You Are You are an experienced product manager with a strong product craft. You have music and/or platform product management experience. You can operate & communicate at multiple levels, from sharing a strategy with leaders inside of Spotify to writing clear user stories for the squad. You’re effective in collaborating across teams, functions, and levels. You know how to approach constraints and make tradeoffs in your roadmap, and bring clarity to complex and ambiguous situations. You’re able to handle multiple moving pieces and adapt to changing scope or timelines. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our global General Ledger team within the Record to Report (RTR) organization. You will be responsible for directing a team of managers, senior associates, and off-shore resources, ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting, and driving process scalability. This role requires a strategic leader adept at managing teams and improving accounting functions in a complex, global environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop the RTR team, setting clear goals and managing performance to foster a culture of excellence and growth. Direct the monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS, and providing final oversight on complex reconciliations and analyses. Specific process areas include Leasing, Payroll, Accruals/Prepaids, Cash, and Investments among others. Champion the continuous improvement and scalability of accounting processes by developing best practices, enforcing policies, and leading key system enhancements. Serve as the primary liaison for audits and collaborate with senior leadership across Finance, Engineering, Legal, Tax, and other departments to drive strategic initiatives. Oversee special projects, ad hoc analyses, and present critical financial findings to executive leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years managing teams, including other managers. Expert knowledge of IFRS and proven success in leading process improvement initiatives. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
