We are seeking a Conversion Specialist to elevate our conversion optimization strategy. This role involves both implementing current optimization initiatives and developing future conversion strategies and hypotheses. The successful candidate will report to the User Growth Optimization lead within the growth team, focusing on increasing subscriptions, reducing churn, and maximizing lifetime value. What You’ll Do Develop bold and tactical experiment hypotheses based on data and research insights. Focus on driving key performance indicators (KPIs) forward, potentially impacting messaging, design, localization, and personalization across the full funnel. Maintain an agile workflow with continuous conversion optimization. Data and third party tracking Experiments: Analyze experiments in python and SQL Work on the technical implementation of third-party tracking tools (amplitude, GTM). Set up working integrations through Big query APIs Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with various internal stakeholders to create testing strategies. Collaborate with R&D for implementation and with marketing and business stakeholders for campaigns or specific traffic sources. Who You Are You have experience in conversion rate optimization, A/B testing and master A/B test principles and methodologies. You have a strategic & analytic mindset. You have 5+ years of experience working with external tracking tools like Heap & Amplitude, preferably also with the technical implementation of these tools. You are fluent in python and SQL are regularly use AI-powered tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude) to accelerate analysis and workflows. You have experience in working with Spotify’s experimentation platform. You have multiple years of working experience within a relevant industry such as an online consumer business, e-commerce, online media or tech start-up. Experience with an online subscriptions service is a big plus but not necessary. You are organized and know how to keep things moving forward, you speak English fluently; more languages and international experience are a plus. Where You'll Be This role is ideally based in Stockholm.

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join the User Fraud studio’s Eraser squad. Our mission is simple, yet critical: make fraud a bad deal for bad actors. We protect creators, listeners, and the platform by raising attacker costs, lowering rewards, and shortening attack windows. Eraser is a distributed team of backend and data engineers across Europe. We build and operate a mitigation platform that detects and responds to fraudulent and abusive behavior at scale. Our primary partners are fraud detection teams, and we also collaborate across multiple missions to help keep Spotify safe and trusted. What You'll Do Build, deploy, and operate backend (Java) services that mitigate fraud and abuse at scale Collaborate closely with data engineers and work with Spotify’s data tech stack (Scala, Scio, Google Dataflow) Evolve a distributed mitigation platform used by internal fraud detection teams Design APIs, workflows, and system safeguards that protect legitimate users while reducing attacker impact Improve system reliability, scalability, and observability using metrics, logs, and tracing Partner with engineering teams across Europe and the US to integrate mitigation capabilities into broader systems Contribute to strong engineering practices including code reviews, documentation, and incident learnings Who You Are You have 2+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend services in production environments You are experienced with APIs, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication You have a strong understanding of data modeling and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases You care about system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence You use metrics, logging, and monitoring to understand and improve system behavior You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams You’re curious about trust, safety, fraud, or adversarial problem spaces Where You Will Be This role is based in Stockholm We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best!
