Lediga jobb hos EA Digital Illusions CE AB
At EA, we believe games are powerful because they bring together multiple ways people engage: play, watch, create, and connect. And increasingly, the biggest entertainment platforms aren't just places to consume content — they're places where communities build. Creator-made content is already a proven part of EA's history — from community creation tools in Battlefield to The Gallery in The Sims 4. We believe new creative technologies and tools will expand how players engage with and contribute to our experiences, supported by thoughtful product design, safety systems, and global reach. Our focus is on enabling more players to participate in creative expression by making creation easier, safer, and more rewarding. We are looking for a Development Director to partner with researchers and engineers shaping the future of AI and interactive entertainment. You will turn technical goals into clear plans and use automation and agentic AI tools to improve how teams plan, coordinate, and deliver work. You will guide work from research and experimentation through prototypes, integration, and delivery. You will also create systems that give teams clear visibility into priorities, progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes. The Development Director will report to the Head of Development Production. This is a hybrid role, working three days per week in our Stockholm studio. Responsibilities Translate research and engineering objectives into plans, milestones, and deliverables. Guide projects from early exploration through prototypes, integration, and release. Establish planning, milestone, review, and execution processes for research and engineering teams. Maintain visibility into priorities, progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes. Coordinate decisions and resources to address project risks and blockers. Turn cross-functional discussions into decisions, actions, owners, and next steps. Build agentic AI workflows that automate scheduling, reporting, coordination, and information synthesis. Improve production tools and processes based on team and project needs. Qualifications 5+ years managing technical programs or projects in software, research, engineering, or related technical environments. Background managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and delivery across technical programs. Experience applying Agile, Kanban, Lean, or similar development practices. Hands-on work building or operating agentic AI and automation workflows. Familiarity with large language model concepts, including task decomposition, tool use, retrieval, and evaluation. Experience synthesizing technical information for teams and leadership. Proficiency with Jira or similar planning and tracking tools. Track record coordinating work across Research, Engineering, Product, and partner teams. We are a diverse, goal-driven team that offers real influence and autonomy to every member. Our ideal candidate is curious, open-minded, and thrilled by exploring fresh concepts and tailoring them for game development. If you are a passionate, creative, and communicative individual who is deeply invested in innovating across new domains of gaming, we want you on our team.
