Location : Stockholm/Hybrid The Website The ComeOn.com website is a service-oriented web application with stability, high performance and user experience being top priority. The frontend is optimized for multi-device web solutions and the tech stack consists of HTML5, CSS3/4, and Javascript with React. For client-side state management, we make use of Redux. On the server side, the business logic is proprietary developed Java code together with open-source frameworks and external integration modules. The database is a MySQL cluster with distributed and dedicated report servers and data warehouse. We are continuously looking for new technologies and innovative solutions to offer our customers a competitive gaming experience. Responsibilities: We are looking for a Java developer to help us build the best gambling site on the Internet. You will work with all parts of the system and all stages of the development process in a team-oriented environment. This includes integrations with external systems, the development of internal components and subsystems, and potentially also frontend development for mobile and desktop devices. You as a developer will work closely together with the business side of the organization to develop and implement new features. You will be working with modern technologies such as Java, Kafka, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL, React, Springboot, deployed as a Debian package, or in Kubernetes. The role also involves reading code written over 15 years, by around 60 developers, and finding manageable paths to modernize it in risk-adverse increments. About you: Deep experience in using Java. You understand that reading code is more difficult than writing code. You should have about 6+ years of previous work experience. Experience with web application/service development. SQL Knowledge. You know how to get legacy code under test. You need to be curious and willing to discuss and exchange knowledge with team members. You need to be a communicative member of an agile delivery team consisting of Devs, QAs and PO. It would be advantageous if you have experience with some of the other technologies that we use; Tomcat, Maven, Spring, MongoDB, Guava, Guice, MySQL, Nginx, Linux, Jenkins, and GIT, docker, Kubernetes, gcloud. Location: Stockholm, Sweden As a DWH QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data in a data warehouse system. This role involves testing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data integration, and analytics/reporting systems to ensure they meet business and technical requirements. You will be involved in defining the QA processes that the team uses. You will be working as a part of agile teams on all SDLC phases. As a person, you are proactive, open-minded and want to challenge yourself to learn and develop further. Requirements Validate data transformations, mappings, and business logic during ETL and streaming data integration processes. Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems. Conduct comprehensive data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Identify and resolve data loading issues and discrepancies. Validate job scheduling, triggers, and error handling in ETL and data integration streaming workflows. Execute functional testing of data warehouse solutions against business requirements. Ensure system compliance with data governance and regulatory standards. Develop automated testing frameworks and scripts for data validation. Use tools or custom scripts for repetitive testing tasks. Support PO's to break down epic stories into sizeable development chunks to ensure there is a stream of smaller tasks available for testing. Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues. Provide clear documentation of test cases, results, and defect tracking. Coordinate test activities during different phases of the project Assist in planning and controlling the test environment to make sure test environments are in healthy condition for test activities Communicate with all stakeholders to report the status of the test and to highlight any issues that might hamper the release About You Excellent command of written and spoken English Hands-on testing (UI, Usability, Functional and Integration, BI) Data analysis and reconciliation of data between source and target reporting layers Experience of running the manual test tasks from the project start to finish. Reporting on progress in line with the processes and escalating issues and risks where appropriate Experience in the creation of test strategies with focus and maintenance of quality standards and validation techniques Experience with JIRA or similar test management tools Experience working in agile methods like SCRUM / KANBAN Working experience in relational databases; SQL preferred No military obligation for male candidates Desired Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data. Familiarity with ETL tools. Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery) REST-API testing using Postman / SoapUI / REST-ASSURED or any other similar frameworks Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Understanding of Cypress and Selenium test automation frameworks. Experience in complex systems with several external integrations, multiple languages and currencies Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistency. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. We expect you to have at least 5 years of working experience.
