We are now looking for a Senior Build Engineer As Build Engineer (DevOps) at Arrowhead you are part of a multidisciplinary tech team supporting the ongoing development of our game projects. You will work closely with the release management, engine, and automation teams and be responsible for providing stable scaling build environments infrastructure, support and solutions.Who you are: We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing and maintaining our build pipelines. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who partners with team members and leadership to proactively identify needs, spot challenges, and suggest solutions. Due to the nature of the role, this will involve having a solid foundation of experience to draw from, and the creative problem solving to apply proven best practice or experimental new techniques, as well as the judgment to know when to use either approach. We prefer the following experience: At least 5 years of technical work experience setting up and managing build and deployment pipelines Expertise in TeamCity and Gitlab In depth understanding of source control systems like Git or Perforce Experience with containerization (using Docker) Experience shipping titles on multiple platforms (Steam, Xbox, PlayStation) Experience in a live service environment Experience with automated testing frameworks Experience writing Python and Kotlin code Experience with meta-build systems like SharpMake or CMake Understanding of C#, C++, Javascript, Lua What you'll do: Create and structure build and deployment architecture Write and improve Python and Kotlin build scripts Update build jobs and pipelines Manage version control systems and integrations Verify build stability during development Analyze build pipeline performance and provide recommendations Troubleshoot operational issues Streamline and automate analysis of logs Assist with coordination and development of automated tests How to apply: If you think that this position matches your background and skills, we would love to hear from you.
