THE ROLE As an O&M Engineer at Hexicon, you will report to the CTO and work closely with our technical team and the project managers. We are looking for an experienced technical package manager for our operation andmaintenance scopes of floating offshore wind farms. We wish you to contribute to the earlystages of development and generate cost estimations and maintenance scenarios. Youwill lead the O&M package for the later stages of our floating offshore wind projectdevelopment phases. You need to be able to speak the language of WTG OEMmaintenance schemes and maintenance contracts. You will also need to be able todevelop and optimise the O&M philosophy as well as plan and lead related scopes andcontracts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE Develop and advise on O&M strategies for floating wind projects. You will be working cross-functionally between all the departments and drive the PMO strategy for our projects, and supporting the corporate development within Hexicon. Besides this, you will be in charge of managing and expanding the PMO department.  To be successful in the role of PMO Manager, you should be familiar with implementing improvement processes and have a detail-oriented mindset. You should also have an extensive experience with project management, and strategic development processes, be able to support where necessary, and not be afraid to coach the project teams on new standards and processes.      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE  - Develop and implement project management standards, templates and processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across projects - Track the progress of each project via project reports and update progress dashboards for management and stakeholders - Schedule, plan, and programme projects in Primavera P6 and/or MS Projects while working closely with the Project Managers - Support M&A processes by managing data rooms and lead document control - Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess project risks. Establish and track risk mitigation plans - Create and review documentation for project creation, development and implementation YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE   - A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or similar education - 6+ years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years in PMO or project development in the energy industry or in complex engineering and construction projects - Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint - Self-motivated, creative & effective problem solver - Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks - Fluency in English (excellency in writing) IT’S NICE IF YOU HAVE   - Previous experience working with Sharepoint, MS Project and/or Primavera P6 - Experience in the energy industry - Fluency in Swedish GENERAL INFO Type of employment: full-time employment with 6 months probationary period. You will also be working closely with our technical team and the project managers. You will oversee multiple projects in various markets. Projects can range from demonstration units to 1+ GW offshore wind ventures, including onshore grid connections. As the Electrical Project Manager, you'll coordinate and integrate electrical systems across projects and manage dedicated electrical teams when needed. Hexicon focuses on early project development, so a strong track record conducting pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE  - Feasibility assessments: Technical and commercial assessments of the various electrical network topologies for offshore wind farms including assessing HVAC vs. HVDC. -   Conceptual Excellence: Define and optimize windfarm electrical systems at a conceptual level. - Project Advancement: Develop and manage engineering works to progress projects through development phases, including pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design - Design Expertise: Provide guidance on the electrical design of wind farms. - Grid Insights: Offer technical input on-grid connections and grid compliance for wind farms when applicable. - Transmission System: Contribute to designing transmission systems, providing technical and commercial requirements. - Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with external consultants, suppliers, and contractors for in-depth studies when needed. - Global Engagement: Embrace occasional international travel for project success and global connections. - Optimization Focus: Be responsible for optimizing and integrating the electrical scope in multi-billion EUR floating wind power generation projects. - Design Compliance: Ensure design compliance with local and international standards and codes, regulatory aspects, and project policies. - Interface management: Identify and manage key technical interfaces across various work packages where the Electrical team is involved. - Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders such as equipment suppliers and regulatory bodies associated with the electrical package where necessary. YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE   - BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering - Experience in Offshore Wind project development - Familiarity with various power system analysis software for power system studies, earthing studies, and thermal studies such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, CDEGS, CYMCAP, etc. - Experience with power systems design and industry codes and standards for offshore wind projects. - Familiarity with one or more grid codes and regulations. - Broad knowledge of the capabilities of global contractors in offshore wind and onshore utilities - Strong personal leadership, including HSSE and Quality Assurance experience. - Willingness to familiarize yourself with new tasks at short notice. - Excellent communication skills - Fluency in English IT’S NICE IF YOU HAVE   - Offshore installation experience, especially with electrical cables and offshore substations. - Experience with equipment selection. We are in search of a multifaceted geoscience professional with a solid grounding in geotechnical engineering and extensive experience in offshore surveying. The role is crucial for early-stage project development, requiring the ability to derive strategic insights from limited geodata for site selection and development activities. Your core responsibilities include overseeing geoscience-related aspects during the development phase of offshore wind projects. This encompasses utilizing diverse geoscience data sources for preliminary assessments, assisting in initial design decisions, site selection, anchor technology, and planning offshore survey operations. The role demands a candidate who is adept in a dynamic, small team environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and manage offshore geoscience investigations (e.g., bathymetric, seabed, and geological surveys). - Analyze and integrate subsoil, geological, and geophysical survey data for site assessment and design. - Handle technical and contractual aspects of explosive ordnance disposal in offshore settings. - Compile and interpret soil and rock condition parameters, including geological stratigraphy. - Generate detailed site assessment reports encompassing soil and geological conditions for design purposes. - Participate in design and cost estimation for both floating and fixed support structures, focusing on soil-structure and rock-structure interactions. - Advise on anchor technology selection and evaluate anchor capacity based on geoscience data. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Geology, or a related geoscience field. - Extensive professional experience in offshore surveying, site investigation, and soil-structure interaction. - Proven track record in managing and interpreting offshore geoscience surveys. - Adaptability to rapidly engage with new tasks and challenges. - Fluency in English with strong teamwork and communication skills.
