Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play an important role in shaping the future of our technology. The Position As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Climeon, you will be working in the core of our product development where you will be designing, integrating, testing and developing Climeon products from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with a broad technical interest who wants to make a significant impact on the future development of our products. Some of your primary responsibilities include: - Lead the mechanical architecture and product design decision - Develop design concepts and identify product requirements - Communicating and coordinating work with suppliers, supporting product sourcing - Develop and create models, drawings and specifications using CAD while maintaining and updating technical documentation for design and testing - Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) - Provide support in the testing and installation phase of products Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who’s independent in their work with a strong personal drive and excellent collaboration skills. You are a team player who enjoy supporting where it’s needed by sharing your knowledge with others. You are also eager to learn new things, you make things happen, and you handle your tasks from start to finish. Furthermore, we seek someone with the following qualifications: - B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or similar - Minimum 10 years of work experience within mechanical engineering - Experience from leading mechanical development projects from design to production, preferably in the manufacturing industry - Experience from leading and coordinating with suppliers and others in the development phase - Experience creating models, drawings and specifications using CAD - Experience within production, preferably low volume production and knowledge within machining, welding and sheet metal. Experience within piping, process, or pressure vessels is a plus. - Experience from working in a small or medium sized company or a small department in a large company is considered a plus - Fluent in English, Swedish language skills is considered a plus. At Climeon, we strive to make the world a better place by improving the climate and environment with our Heat Power modules that convert low temperature heat into electricity, delivering renewable and green electricity for ships, industrial processes, and local communities. With the new HeatPower 300 launched to the market and a growing interest and recent orders, Climeon needs to strengthen the Finance team with an Accountant that will help guide our company´s growth and contribute to future financial success. We’re looking for a meticulous and positive individual to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in managing our financial landscape. You will be working with ongoing accounting in the general ledger and underlying sub-ledgers, overseeing foreign subsidiaries, and managing currency reconciliations. You will also play an active role in monthly and quarterly reporting as well as provide support to Climeons operational departments. Some of your day-to-day tasks will include: - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, invoicing, and inventory transactions with a focus on accuracy. - Execute currency reconciliations and monitor foreign currency transactions. - Facilitate intercompany transactions and ensure seamless reconciliations. - Register and monitor fixed assets to uphold accurate financial records. - Handle periodic compilations, VAT, and employer declarations for regulatory compliance. - Collaborate in monthly reconciliations alongside the Accounting Manager and the rest of the finance team. Who are you? To succeed in this role, we seek someone with a relevant education within Finance/Accounting as well as at least two years relevant experience in operational accounting. We believe that you have strong familiarity with financial systems such as Business Central or other ERP platforms as well as good skills in Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must, Swedish language skills are considered a big plus.
