As a part of our growth journey, we are looking for a Head of Clinical Operations who will lead the department. This position is a senior management role in the operational organisation where you will be responsible for the Clinical Operations Department consisting of a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators including the Line Managers for these groups. As Head of Clinical Operations, you will be responsible for the department and its processes, ensuring that projects run smoothly through efficient workflows, and for implementing Antaros Medical's strategy within the department. You will also be part of the Operational Management Team. You will be reporting to the COO, and the role will be based in Uppsala or Mölndal. As Head of Clinical Operations your main responsibilities will be: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Clinical Operations Department, fostering a high-performing culture through support in mentoring, coaching, development, and recruitment initiatives in collaboration with the Line Managers Ensure that projects are managed in a smooth, streamlined and efficient way by continuously improving workflows, removing complexity and supporting best practices across teams Leading the day-to-day operations ensuring operational challenges and changes are addressed Improve operational efficiency and develop short-term and long-term strategies for the Clinical Operations Department that aligns with company strategy and goals Keep oversight of all our clinical trials in collaboration with the Project Managers, ensuring they are delivered to timelines, agreed budget, and high quality and in accordance with internal and client’s SOPs and ICH/GCP Collaborate with our Compliance organisation, to ensure efficient and compliant workflows Actively collaborate with fellow managers in the Operational Management Team to ensure streamlined and efficient cooperation between departments within Operations Represent Clinical Operations in customer meetings, and audits and inspections Assist the COO in building the operational platform and in daily activities as applicable Who you are We believe that you are a committed, strategic, and forward-thinking leader who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. As a Finance Assistant, you will support day-to-day financial operations and collaborate closely with colleagues across the business. Main responsibilities will include: Day-to-day accounting Accounts payable Accounts receivable Registering payments Controlling and correcting expense reports Filing VAT and employers’ contribution tax returns Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with payroll and acting as back-up during absences Maintaining system registers to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information Contact with managers, project managers, and other staff to inform about and collect financial information Contributing to a timely and correct month-end close as well as year-end close Contributing with schedules and supporting documentation in the audit process Supporting and assisting Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Office Management with general administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis. As an Image Analyst, you will be responsible for quality control and segmentation of medical images from MR and PET investigations in a technical and research-intensive environment. You will work in a team that together analyse and deliver data for clinical trials using tools to segment organs and structures in the medical images. Your responsibility also includes communication with national and international imaging centres. You do not need any previous experience from image analysis and will, as part of your on-boarding, receive a mentor and undergo an extensive training programme.
