By combining sensors, computers and advanced submerged hydrofoils, our electric craft fly above the water, reaching speeds and range previously attained only by fossil fuel powerboats With an increasing demand for our C-8 leisure boat and the fact that we are also venturing into public transport with the revolutionary foiling P-12 ferry, we are now scaling up production pace in Rotebro. What we are looking for We are seeking ambitious individuals to join our production site in Rotebro. In Rotebro, we manufacture boats from scratch - from building the initial carbon fiber components to having a finished boat. Our production in Rotebro comprises several distinct stages and teams. For instance, we have a composite team, a trimming team, a painting team, and a assembly-team. We are looking for various experiences for different teams, but some general requirements are: Previous experience in hands-on physical work Ability to work in an environment exposed to dust particles and chemicals Proficiency in English, as it is necessary for daily work If you have experience in any of the following areas: electrical work, mechanics, industrial painting, sanding, or assembly, it would be considered advantageous. Trimming Boat Builder

Candela’s ultimate purpose is to speed up the transition to fossil fuel-free lakes and oceans. We strive to re-think efficiency in marine transportation to radically push the performance boundaries of electric boats and ships. By combining sensors, computers and advanced submerged hydrofoils, our electric craft flies above the water, reaching range at speeds previously attained only by fossil fuel powerboats. After launching Candela C-7, Europe’s currently best-selling electric boat, we launched Candela C-8 in August 2021, the first electric boat intended for high volume production. We are also venturing into public transport with the revolutionary foiling P-12 ferry, built for the city of Stockholm. We are now looking for a Trimming Boat Builder to support Candela’s growth ambitions. Core responsibilities Trim carbon fiber parts using high speed air powertools Drilling with bites and whole saw, grinding, routering, gun sanding, belt sander, cut off grinding and similar tools Following instructions, blueprints and jigs Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order Follow company guidelines and safety protocols Requirements Preferable experience as carpenter, blacksmith or as a boat builder Experience of working in a hands-on environment where you need to use mask and protective suits for extended periods of time Experience of working with heavy equipment Ability to communicate in English To be physically allowed to work in an environment where you are exposed to dust particles and chemicals Join a stellar team By bringing together some of the world’s brightest researchers and engineers, we are pushing the boundaries of marine transportation. Sander 2-shift

We are now looking for a Sander to support Candela’s growth ambitions. Core responsibilities: Sanding carbon fiber surfaces, primer and filler. Masking different carbon fiber parts. Paint carbon fiber parts with primer by using a roller. Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order. Follow company guidelines and safety protocols. To be successful in the role you probably: You have previous experience from working as a painter in an industry environment where focus has been on finish and precision. You can learn fast and a willingness to be part of an ambitious team with a high working pace and short decision paths. Lastly, you think the products we are developing and producing are really cool! Requirements: Experience of working in a hands-on environment where you need to use mask and protective suits for extended periods of time. Experience of working with handheld sanding machines. Ability to communicate in English (Swedish is a plus). To be physically allowed to work in an environment where you are exposed to dust particles and chemicals. Mechanic

Core responsibilities: Work in the mechanical workshop with pre-assembly of in-house designed mechanic components. Work in the boats with installation of mechanic components. Become an expert in the complete mechanic system belonging to the most advanced serial produced leisure boats today containing in-house designed. Pre-assembly and mounting different sub-systems of the boat. Repairing and solving the mechanical issues of the boat. Conducting quality control checks of the sub-system assembled in pre-assembly. Production Worker

Core responsibilities: Produce, trim, assemble, and finish composite parts for our latest model Maintain equipment, molds, and tools Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and delivery targets Document your work according to company guidelines Follow all safety protocols Review blueprints and instructions Who are you? You have experience from hands-on/practical work. Electrician

Become a master of the complete electrical system belonging to the most advanced serial produced leisure boats today containing in-house designed electronics, high-voltage drive-train, and a various flight control sensors. Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement. Who are you? You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay thorough and focused by being organized and well structured. Most importantly, you think the products we are developing and producing are really cool. To be successful in the role: You have experience and knowledge in working with a wide range of electrical systems. You are used to using and understanding electrical schematics. You have experience or at least a strong interest in EV systems Experience of working with 400+ voltage systems. It is a bonus if you have: Experience of working with CAN Buss NMEA 2000. Service Technician

Our products are digital native, fully integrated and connected systems that gives unique possibilities when it comes to remote monitoring and support of the product. We are now looking for further talent to join our journey to deliver superior customer experience. You will be part of our Global Aftermarket organisation which is instrumental to support Candela’s growth ambitions. Core responsibilities: - Maintenance, diagnose and repair boats in our dedicated service workshop located in Lidingö, Stockholm. - Conduct field service and repairs at customers or our partners facilities in Sweden and abroad. - Remotely support customer in Sweden and when needed the rest of the Candela world. - Service of boats (washing, polishing, preparing for winter storage etc). - Transport and launch boats, both by road and sea transport. - Participate in development of special service tools and service instructions for coming boat generations. - Participate in development of methods and process in connection to our service workshop. - Commissioning and customer hand-over of new boats. - Conduct sea trials. To be successful in the role you need: - Experience as service technician, mechanic, or similar work environments, it is a plus if you have experience from working with electric vehicles but it is not a must. - Understanding of electrical systems and control electronics. - To be able to work independently. - Excellent English written, both written and spoken. - Team-oriented attitude. It’s a plus if you have: - Nautical experience or experience from working in the maritime industry. - BE driver’s license. - Forklift license. - Crane license. - Additional language skills (more then English and Swedish).
