About the role As a Staff Server Engineer, you will be driving the design and implementation of our own distributed game server technology. You will work both in a team and independently, and take responsibility of design and implementation for key systems within our platform. We strive for technical excellence and you will be encouraged to venture outside of your comfort zone, by learning and implementing new technologies. You need to be able to take initiative and find creative solutions to complex problems. This role will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. Your day-to-day as a Staff Server Engineer - Giving technical support to our engineers, and supporting in their day to day operations - Taking responsibility of projects and driving technical initiatives to ensure their successful completion with respect to deadlines - Implementing high level system design and System Architecture to our server - Aligning technical work to the overall design and vision of our product - Mantaining straight communication with engineers and collaborators from other areas of the company, giving and receiving feedback - Communicating designs on multiple levels of technical understanding - Being pro-active in the suggestion of improvements to the product Requirements - Be a self-driven staff engineer who can support our engineering team and put your experience within system design and architecture into action - Be a proactive team player, value feedback in both directions and take a constructive approach to it - Be a constant learner, always on top of new technologies and looking to update your technical knowledge - Previous experience in carrying the responsibility for servers and working with distributed systems - Experience with .NET and gRPC frameworks - Experience with low level networking - Diverse experience from interesting past projects Good to have - Networking in games experience - Experience in implementing and mantaining features on game servers - Experience with other programming languages like Golang or Rustlang Personal traits - Ability to take ownership of responsibilities - Good interpersonal and team-work skills - Collaborative and consensus-driven approach - Strong communication skills - Capable of working independently with minimum supervision - Open to feedback and iterations Our tech stack - .NET - Azure / Azure DevOps - Kubernetes / Docker / Helm - gRPC - Unity - Blazor - Terraform About Ringtail Interactive At Ringtail Interactive, we are consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible for a small but fast-growing development team. Technical Artist - Unannounced Project

About the role We are looking for a mid-level to senior Technical Artist with experience in the mobile gaming space. Our project is ambitious and you will be one of the senior positions in building up the actual 3D world. Working closely with the Art Director and Tech Lead, you will be responsible of building up the pipelines and tools between Art and Tech, shader coding, asset and scene optimizing, and VFX. We are currently on the lookout for two technical artists: one VFX expert and one UI pro. If you think any of these could be the right fit for you, keep reading! Senior 2D Concept Artist

Your ability to balance artistic vision with technical proficiency will ensure that our characters are both visually striking and of consistent quality and style throughout. 3D Character Artist - Unannounced Project

About the role We are looking for a 3D Character Artist with experience in the mobile gaming space and the ability of an ‘all-rounder’. Our project is ambitious and you will be one of the senior positions in building up the actual 3D world. Working closely with the Art Director, you will be responsible of building up the 3D works of characters and props of the massive world we want to create. This includes modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering.
