Product Designer — Child UX/UI Albert Group is building next-generation maths learning products for kids aged 7-12, spanning both a home experience and a school-facing tool. AI is a genuine and relevant part of the learner experience. Every session needs to feel encouraging and end on a high note, standing on its own without relying on anyone else to make it work. We're looking for a senior product designer with genuine expertise in designing for children — engagement, pacing, emotional tone, age-appropriate interaction patterns — who can also turn their hand to a different problem: the teacher-facing application as a whole, giving teachers a clearer view of their class and supporting their everyday classroom workflows. We also expect you to be comfortable using AI tools deeply in your own design process — prototyping, iterating, and exploring directions with AI as a core part of how you work, not an occasional shortcut. What you'll own: End-to-end UX/UI for the home experience, including how AI-driven, adaptive interactions are surfaced to a child The teacher-facing application's design as a whole — professional, clear, and built to give teachers a clearer view of their class Design decisions across two genuinely different product contexts, working closely with our learning scientist What we're looking for: Proven senior experience designing for children's products Real fluency using AI tools as a core part of your design workflow Some exposure to, or comfort learning, standard dashboard/workflow design Comfort working solo as the only designer on a small, senior team
QA Automation Engineer Albert Group is building next-generation maths learning products for school and home. AI is a genuine and relevant part of the solution. Quality and accuracy are core to what we do — especially as we build with AI coding agents doing meaningful parts of implementation, which raises the bar on review rather than lowering it. We're looking for someone who can own testing broadly — not just executing test plans, but setting the testing strategy for a small, fast-moving product team and working hands-on across the full range of automated and manual testing. We want to push testing itself to be heavily AI-driven — using AI to help generate, maintain, and expand test coverage, not just to test AI-built features. What you'll do: Set our overall testing strategy — what gets tested, how, and at what level, across a growing product surface Define standards and coverage expectations for unit and component-level testing, which developers write themselves as part of their agentic development workflow — you set the bar and help maintain consistency, rather than writing these tests yourself Build and maintain end-to-end tests covering real user flows across the school and home products Explore and apply AI-assisted test generation and automation — using AI to produce, expand, and maintain test suites, not just relying on manually written tests Do manual and ad-hoc testing where automation isn't practical yet or where human judgment catches things scripts won't — particularly around subtle product logic and learner-facing behavior Build a strong review discipline specifically around AI-agent-generated code and features Work with Python where relevant for testing/validating learner data pipelines Work embedded within the product development team — not a separate QA function bolted on at the end, but part of the daily build process Work closely with our learning scientist and pedagogical lead to catch subtle logic errors, not just software bugs What we're looking for: Strong, broad QA background spanning test strategy, E2E testing, and manual/exploratory testing Experience setting testing strategy and standards for a product team, including for unit/component tests written by developers — not necessarily writing these yourself Real experience reviewing AI-generated output critically — this is central to the role, not incidental Experience using AI to generate or automate tests is a strong plus — we recognize this is still an emerging practice, so we're not requiring deep professional experience here, just genuine interest and some hands-on exploration Comfort with Python for data validation tasks Ideally some exposure to education or assessment products Detail-oriented, self-directed — flat team, no management layer
Albert Group is building next-generation products for maths learning. AI is a genuine and relevant part of the solution. We're early-stage: a small, flat team of 6-7 people, no management layers. AI coding agents are a core, primary part of our development process — not something we're experimenting with on the side. We're looking for engineers who already build this way and do it well. We also value experience with learner signal engineering and adaptive algorithms — building, analyzing, and tuning logic based on the learning signals that flow through the product. This is one important piece of what makes the product meaningful and personalized for each learner, and it's a core part of what makes the engineering here interesting. What you'll do: Build features across our web, mobile, and backend surfaces using our TypeScript stack Work with Python where relevant, particularly around learner data processing and signal analysis Direct and critically review AI-agent-generated code as a daily practice Collaborate closely with a small, senior team with no bureaucracy in between What we're looking for: Senior-level TypeScript across backend and frontend/mobile Genuine, hands-on experience with AI-agentic development — this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have Comfort with Python for data-oriented tasks Experience with learner signal engineering, adaptive algorithms, or parameter/weighting tuning for personalization is a strong plus Self-directed; you'll report to the COO/CTO directly, with real autonomy
At Albert Group, we're building next-generation products for maths learning, spanning both school and home. AI is a genuine and relevant part of the solution. It's a from-scratch build alongside Albert Junior, our flagship product, and it's still small enough that the technical decisions you make now will shape how it works for years. We're looking for a senior engineer to take ownership of our architecture, working across a modern TypeScript stack (backend, web, and mobile) with Python for data processing and analysis of learner signal data. You'll set the standards for how we build — and we mean this seriously: we expect deep, hands-on experience with AI-agentic product development, where AI agents do meaningful parts of the implementation and your job is to direct, review, and hold the bar. We also put real weight on experience with learner signal engineering and adaptive algorithms — building, analyzing, and tuning the logic that turns raw interaction data into meaningful, personalized behavior. This is one important piece of what makes the product meaningful and personalized for each learner, and getting the parameters and weighting right is one of the more technically interesting problems in the whole system. What you'll own: Core architecture decisions across our product surfaces Data pipelines and analytics — including Python-based processing of learner input/output signal data Learner signal engineering and adaptive logic — how learner data is captured, analyzed, and tuned to drive what the product does next Standards for agentic development across the team: what "good" looks like, and where human judgment is non-negotiable Technical direction alongside with full-stack engineers, reporting directly to our COO/CTO What we're looking for: Deep experience architecting modern TypeScript systems at a senior/staff level Strong Python skills for data processing/analysis Experience with learner signal engineering, adaptive algorithms, or parameter/weighting tuning for personalization Real, substantial experience with AI-agentic development workflows — not just occasional use of AI tools, but building this way as a primary mode of work Independent, self-directed — flat, no-management-layer team
