The Role: We are looking for a server to join our front-of-house team. As the face of our restaurant, your role will be to create a welcoming and energetic environment for our guests to enjoy. Your duties: Welcoming, seating, and serving guests Guiding guests through our menu, including explaining the dishes, describing sakes and cocktails, and answering any questions they may pose. Taking food and drink orders accurately and serving them efficiently. Managing table turnarounds, clearing and cleaning dishes, and ensuring the dining room remains clean and presentable. Handling payments and operating the POS (point-of-sale) system. Qualifications: Experience in fast-paced high-volume restaurants a strong plus, but not necessary. Some customer service experience required. Basic understanding of restaurant cleanliness and service requirements, including alcohol service. Swedish and English fluency is required. Conversational Japanese is a plus, but not necessary. Good communication skills, and ability to work in a team is required. The Role: We are looking for an individual who is interested in learning and practicing Japanese cuisine, primarily in Yakitori and homestyle Japanese food. Your duties: Learning to prepare, cook, and serve all the dishes on the menu to the standard that our restaurant requires Daily handling and preparation of fresh fish, meat, and vegetables. Compliance with self-monitoring programs, food safety regulations, and hygiene routines (HACCP). Cleaning and general maintenance of both the service and kitchen areas Ability to lift up to 20kg Qualifications: Preferably some experience in Japanese cuisine and professional kitchens, but not necessary. Good understanding of cooking techniques, willingness to learn knife skills and flavor combinations. Fluent in Swedish and/or English, some Japanese is a plus. Ability to work in a high-stress environment, punctuality, and upholding standards in your work.
