Sharkmob is looking for a Senior Game Designer focused on NPC/AI to join us at our studio in Malmö, Sweden. In this role, you’ll own the design of NPCs, from behaviour-tree logic to moment-to-moment combat feel, working closely with coders, artists, fellow designers, as well as production and direction. Together, you’ll deliver nail-biting, fair, and rewarding gameplay experiences that align with the game’s creative vision and development goals. We're looking for someone who is passionate about AI design, excited by the challenges of the extraction shooter genre, and eager to push the gameplay experience forward through thoughtful, systems-driven design. Making sure the NPC/AI is fun, fair, believable and rewarding. Ensuring that the NPC/AI systems work well together with other game loops. Mentor and support junior/intermediate game designers, offering feedback, guidance, and knowledge sharing. Work together with the team to iterate on features, take initiative for improvements and feedback on all aspects of the game. Requirements 5+ years of experience in game design, with a strong focus on AI or combat systems, and a proven track record of working on larger development teams. Experience with Shooters. We are looking for two Senior UI Designers for our soon to be released AAA project Exoborne - an open-world extraction shooter. As senior members of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, directors, UX experts and engineers to create user interfaces that are both visually engaging and highly functional. Your work will help ensure the UI is consistent, accessible, and fully aligned with the overall vision of the game. You’ll take responsibility for key UI systems and workflows, working together with the team to establish best practices and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the project. By sharing your expertise and contributing ideas, you’ll help the whole team deliver a polished and immersive player experience. Responsibilities Work closely with the Directors, Game Designers, Programmers, and fellow team members to create polished and intuitive user interfaces that enhance gameplay and integrate seamlessly into the game world. Drive the creation and evolution of the game’s UI ensuring cohesive visual style and design language for all UI elements, aligning with the overall artistic vision of the game. Demonstrated experience with interactive and motion design. A strong understanding of game development pipelines and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Senior Game Quality Analyst

Take part in the development of our latest project, Exoborne, an exciting next step in the studio’s evolution and growth. As a Senior Games Quality Analyst, you will contribute to building the foundation for a great QA team. This means being involved with game features from their planning through the different stages of implementation. Working as a quality analyst with us is not just about finding and reporting bugs, but collaborating closely with a multitude of different departments involved in the process to produce the best possible player experience. We expect QA team members to be proactive and engage in establishing the testing practices and procedures for areas of the game for which they are responsible. We're seeking someone who is collaborative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities with care and efficiency. It’s a plus if you’re a gamer and even better if you enjoy the creative process integral to creating a new game and IP. Responsibilities Document test plans, QA tasks, and test cases for use by internal and external teams. Help manage the day-to-day tasks of our External FQA teams and facilitate the transfer of information where and when necessary. Review and prioritize bugs and create Jira dashboards for different project teams you will be supporting in this role. Perform hands-on testing and gain advanced knowledge of features and areas that you will have ownership of from a QA perspective. Follow up with thorough regression testing on bugs reported in your areas and investigate issues with complicated reproduction steps. Assist with planning and logistics for internal and external user experience playtests. Provide qualitative feedback, discuss, and engage with stakeholders, and ensure that we focus our efforts on verifying the game quality where it matters the most. Be proactive in building the test pipeline and process for the features you will have QA ownership over. Qualifications Demonstrable experience with testing, 5+ years working with quality control/quality assurance or a similar role. Previous employment in the gaming industry is a big plus. Proficiency in defect tracking tools and planning such as JIRA, Confluence, Testrail, and similar. Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills, capable of summarizing complex subjects to technical and non-technical team representatives. Ability to immediately recognize critical issues or testing deficiencies. Familiar with common development tools such as Perforce and Visual Studio. Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Solid understanding of live game development cycles, and familiarity with game engines and dev tools.
