Join our Finance team as a hands-on Controller, leading reporting, analysis, and process improvements in a fast-growing, international scale-up. The Role We’re looking for a broad, hands-on Controller to join our Finance department for a 12-month parental leave substitution, starting in late August/early September. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of accounting and business controlling in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. You’ll help ensure high-quality financial reporting for Sweden and our smaller international subsidiaries. What you’ll do Lead accurate monthly closings and deliver clear financial reporting. Drive analysis and support decision-making with insights. Lead the annual report process and maintain strong internal controls and policies. Support budget follow-ups and forecasting across departments, with a strong focus on cost control. Manage consolidation and quality assurance of the group’s financial statements. Help standardize internal processes and coordinate with external accounting firms for subsidiaries. Act as a subject matter expert and support the organization in financial processes. You’ll report to the VP of Finance and work closely with our Accountant and another Controller. To be successful in this role, we believe you have: Education: A BSc or MSc in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling or a similar relevant field. Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with a proven ability to analyze and summarize large data sets efficiently. Forecasting & Reporting: Solid experience in cash flow forecasting (short- and long-term), group consolidation, and year-end closings (K3). Decision Support: A track record of creating monthly reports and providing the documentation necessary to guide internal business decisions. Language Skills: Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken. Meritorious: Experience in leveraging AI tools to simplify and automate financial processes. Why Kognic? We are growing fast and expanding our presence in China and we are looking for the right person to lead our marketing efforts there from our Gothenburg headquarters. The Role As our China Marketing Specialist, you will own Kognic’s marketing presence in China while being based at our Gothenburg office. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Director of Marketing to align with Kognic’s global brand and ways of working. Your scope includes creating and localizing marketing content for the Chinese market, and supporting the China sales team with marketing materials, event coordination, and lead generation. You will also track and report on China marketing performance metrics, and support and coordinate Kognic’s presence at Chinese automotive and tech events. A couple of times a year, you will travel to China to participate in local events and build strong collaboration with our team in China. We are looking for you! We are looking for a proactive, resourceful professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you bring: 2+ years in marketing, preferably within B2B tech or the automotive industry. Native/Fluent Mandarin and professional English (written and spoken). Content creation skills - ability to write compelling copy in Chinese Comfort with AI tools and an eagerness to use them daily. We are an AI-first team — Claude Code, ChatGPT, and similar tools are part of how we work. It’s a plus if you have: Hands-on experience with Chinese digital marketing platforms (WeChat Official Accounts, Baidu SEO/SEM, Zhihu). Familiarity with the AD/ADAS ecosystem or Tier 1 automotive suppliers. Experience with HubSpot, SEO, or event management. Commercial experience - sales support, lead generation, or partner marketing. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of accounting and business controlling within a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our financial reporting, both for Sweden and smaller international subsidiaries. We are searching for someone who is good at analyzing financial details and finding ways to make processes simpler and move strategic projects forward. Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of monthly closings, creating reports for financial reporting, and analysis. This role leads the annual reporting process and ensures internal controls and policies are maintained at a high standard. The position supports the organization by conducting budget follow-ups and forecasting across various departments within cost control. Additionally, this role manages consolidation and quality assurance for the group's financial statements, including establishing internal standardized processes. Finally, the role serves as a subject matter expert in relevant areas to educate the internal organization on financial processes.
