HOSTEL / HOTEL MANAGER Stockholm, Sweden We are looking for a hands-on Hostel / Hotel Manager to join our growing hospitality company in central Stockholm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining team management with the practical, day-to-day operation of a hostel. Who we are looking for Fluent and confident in English, both spoken and written. Preferably 3+ years of experience in hospitality, including experience in a managerial or supervisory role. Responsible, organized and attentive to detail. Comfortable using computers, basic Excel and different online systems and tools. Confident managing, supporting and motivating a small team. Hands-on and willing to help with cleaning, maintenance or other practical tasks when needed. Positive, communicative and social, with an interest in travel, hospitality and meeting people from around the world. Able to work independently, take initiative and solve problems as they arise. The role As Hostel / Hotel Manager, you are responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the property. Your responsibilities include: Managing and overseeing a small on-site team of 1–3 people. Working in the hostel reception and assisting guests when needed. Planning staff schedules and coordinating daily tasks. Overseeing daily operations, supplies, linen orders and general organization. Ensuring that rooms and common areas meet our cleanliness and quality standards. Assisting with cleaning when needed. Handling minor maintenance and practical issues. Communicating and coordinating with our online reception and remote team. The position is approximately 40–50 hours per week, working in shifts during the hostel's operating hours, with 1–2 days off per week. As manager, you have flexibility to organize your own schedule according to the needs of the property. CLEANING SUPERVISOR – HOSTEL Stockholm, Sweden We are looking for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join our growing hostel group in central Stockholm. This role is ideal for someone with strong cleaning experience who is organized, responsible and enjoys working with people in an international environment. Who we are looking for Previous experience in professional cleaning and preferably as a cleaning supervisor or team leader. Strong cleaning skills and a good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards. Able to communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written. Responsible, organized and attentive to detail. Comfortable supervising and coordinating a small team. Positive, practical and willing to take initiative. EU citizenship or permanent residency/work authorization in an EU country. Experience in hospitality, hostels or hotels is a plus, as is education within hospitality or service. You do not need extensive hospitality or management experience to be considered. If you have strong cleaning experience, the right attitude and are willing to learn, we are happy to train you in the other parts of the role.
