Area Sales Manager - Space Products

About this role: The Area Sales Manager (Space Products) will work with our customers and operational delivery teams to sell AAC Clyde Space products and subsystems, with a focus on the products produced at our Uppsala site. The sales process often means working a lot with customers and internal teams to find a great solution, and we have several repeat customers to build and maintain relationships with. The role will have occasional travel and we are open to hybrid working given the nature of the role. You will be core to our established Business Development team, playing a key role in our strategic plans to help bring Space down to Earth in line with our vision. Key Responsibilities: Deliver on sales pipeline in line with business priorities Provide accurate information and estimates on agreed work plans through company systems and records for monitoring achievement of operational and/or financial plan Proactively engage with customers, acting as point of contact Translate customer requirements to clear, tailored value propositions Respond to sales enquiries and prepare quotes for product sales Prepare technical, financial and programmatic proposals Convey customer requirements to our Development Team Active interest in market and market intelligence, following trends and monitoring the competitive landscape Assist in developing marketing material Drive lessons learned initiatives to continually improve pursuit strategies for the products Identify and attend appropriate conferences, industry events and customer visits Skills required: Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience Experience with sales or other customer facing work in a highly technical environment Demonstrates commercial awareness Excellent communicator with an engaging personality Demonstrates ability to be proactive with networking Can work independently as well as ability to effectively collaborate within cross cultural teams Evidence of focused tenacity Work to ensure our customers receive an awesome level of service Ability to work autonomously, organise self and prioritise workload in dynamic environment with tight deadlines Competent IT skills including Office365 Fluent in English Skills desired: Previous experience in working with small-medium size businesses Why AAC Clyde Space? Space System FPGA Developer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded FPGA engineer to contribute to our design of state-of-the-art satellite subsystems, with an emphasis on electronics and software engineering. The candidate should show strong aptitude, share our enthusiasm for systems engineering for space applications. This is a full-time role for an experienced FPGA developer, who can work to deliver our next range of subsystems for satellite projects. Responsibilities will include: · Design of our on-board computer system-on-chip FPGA designs for space applications · Architectural design and review of avionics and FPGA designs · Be part of testing together with software or electronics team · To improve current designs and undertake design reviews with the rest of the team · To engage with stakeholders (technicians, engineers and clients) to ensure correct functionality, operation, manufacture and integration of our systems · Generation and maintenance of technical design documentation including requirements capture, technical descriptions and user manuals Skills required: · Candidate should be educated to at least Bachelor’s degree in system on chip, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience · HDL design for FPGA systems (VHDL) · Knowledge of high speed digital design (SERDES) · Digital Electronics hardware design experience · Design for Manufacture and Design for Test awareness · Ability to diagnose and debug new and existing FPGA designs · Reliability design analyses · Experience designing Hardware/Software interfaces · Ability to work as part of a team of engineers to deliver work packages to time, cost and quality · Fluent in English, written and spoken Skills Desired: · Embedded communication systems and standards, including use and understanding of CAN, SPI, I2C and UART · Experience with DSP algorithms or dataflow implementations · Experience of coding in C and Python (application and/or device drivers) will be beneficial · Test driven development and unit testing · Good understanding of systems and mission requirements · Ability to work independently and make educated decisions, as well as an ability to support and mentor other team members · Knowledge of board testing and ESA quality management ABOUT AAC CLYDE SPACE AAC Clyde Space, a leading New Space company, specialises in small satellite technologies and services that enable businesses, governments, and educational organisations to access high-quality, timely data from space. BLI EN DEL AV VÅRT TEAM Var med i expansionen av AAC Clyde Space och bli en del av teamet som arbetar i Uppsala. Vi söker en Teknisk Projektledare som vill leda R&D projekt i nära samarbete med våra kunder. I rollen ingår att planera tillverkningen där du kommer att vara en viktig del i att leverera våra produkter till satellitprojekt och rymdapplikationer. Tillverkning och integration görs i vår egen anläggning såväl som hos underleverantörer. Vi söker dig som vill ha ett omväxlande och brett arbete där du kommer att leda och ansvara för kundprojekt. I ansvaret ingår att styra kostnad, scope, kvalitet och leverans i tid av våra system. Du kommer att bli en nyckelperson i vår organisation och aktivt bidra till förbättrade arbetssätt och processer. Din arbetsplats är på vårt huvudkontor i Uppsala, där du ingår i ett väl sammansvetsat team. Förutom dina kollegor på kontoret kommer du att ha många kontaktytor med våra samarbetspartners världen över. Du själv är civilingenjör eller motsvarande med flera års erfarenhet av projektledning i en teknikintensiv miljö. Ett brinnande teknikintresse är en förutsättning liksom stort kundfokus. Du är van att hantera avancerade tekniska diskussioner i en krävande omgivning. Mycket goda kunskaper i engelska är en förutsättning. Som person är du drivande och pragmatisk samtidigt som du är affärsinriktad och tydlig i din kommunikation. Det är önskvärt att du har kunskaper i projektplaneringsverktyg eller certifiering/utbildning inom projektledning liknande PPS eller PMI.
