In this global role, you’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge data technologies, building analytics capabilities that empower smarter decisions.  What you’ll be doing Define key metrics that guide our commercial strategies.  Build robust data models for attribution, channel performance, and customer journey analysis.  Partner with data engineers to transform raw data into valuable assets.  Develop dashboards and visualization tools for marketing and business insights.  Ensure data quality and optimize pipelines across marketing platforms.  Contribute to best practices, frameworks, and BI infrastructure.  What you’ll bring to the role Strong understanding of marketing data (UTMs, attribution, ad platforms).  Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (PowerBI preferred).  Experience with data modelling and ETL/ELT processes (dbt, SQL, Python).  Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).  Ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions.  Bonus: Background in software development, machine learning.  What is in it for you? About the role We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics and ML team. We are looking for somebody who can continue building, improving, expanding and maintaining our data infrastructure and central back-end, from GCP fundamentals to collaborating with tech teams to set up their data serving pipelines, to enabling analytics engineers and domain experts to build data marts, dashboarding and data science efforts. You are responsible for enabling other data experts in their developer experience, ensuring our data core platform is secure, stable and scalable, can run necessary pipelines for streaming and other sources, and serve data to other engineers or analysts in a reliable, compliant and convenient way. Your work will be key to optimising the reliability and performance of our organisation and the different teams. You will build and maintain our data landscape, drive change in our tech and development processes, engineer solutions to enhance features, and be a part of our data architecture to propel solutions to further levels. Your other responsibilities include: Enable data- and AI-driven software, insights and informed decisions through enabling data product building in an interoperable, agile and modern fashion Build components to enable data mesh distributed ownership of data assets, pipelines and analytics marts Develop end-to-end pipelines to ingest, transform and serve data assets Collaborate with analytics engineers, enabling them to move fast and efficiently in developing and managing data products based on raw source data Collaborate with software product development teams to allow them to to have autonomy in serving and consuming data in the landscape Introduce practices and tools to improve data reliability and performance Ingest crucial data to adjust future business strategies Who are you From a technical perspective, we would like you to have experience with: Data engineering, infrastructure as code, and building data pipelines and pipeline modules Streaming data, Kafka, schema registry Creating ELT/ETL pipelines for ingesting and transforming data Building, testing, and maintaining database and pipeline architectures Dagster, DBT, DLT, GCP, AWS Python, SQL, Java, Terraform GitHub CICD and deployment pipelines Kubernetes Lint and other code hygiene CI practices Data/analytics/ML in any major cloud platform As a person, we would like you to be: Adaptable and hands-on solution while taking into account/having an interest for the holistic perspective A quick learner with a willingness to share knowledge A strong communicator and team player At Aira, we champion the next-generation energy as well as diversity and inclusion.
