Job Title: Mobile App Developer (iOS & Android) – Swedish Speaking | Healthcare Domain Experience: 5 to 8 years Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Job Type: Full-time | Onsite Language Requirement: Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written), good command of English About the Role: We are hiring a Mobile App Developer experienced in both iOS and Android native development, with proven exposure to the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building intuitive, secure, and high-performance mobile applications for healthcare users and professionals in Sweden. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering digital health solutions that comply with medical standards and improve patient outcomes. Swedish language proficiency is essential to effectively engage with local teams, clinicians, and healthcare stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for healthcare services using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android). Work with product owners, UX/UI designers, and healthcare professionals to translate requirements into mobile features. Build applications that comply with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7). Ensure robust app architecture and deliver high performance, accessibility, and responsiveness. Integrate with backend systems, EHRs, and third-party APIs securely. Participate in regular Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally. Write clean, well-documented code and perform code reviews. Communicate clearly in Swedish with internal and external stakeholders, especially from the healthcare sector. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5–8 years of mobile development experience in native iOS and Android. Hands-on with: iOS: Swift, Objective-C Android: Kotlin, Java Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare domain, preferably with exposure to patient apps, clinical tools, or medical platforms. Experience working with GDPR-compliant apps and understanding of secure data handling practices. Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 integration and healthcare data exchange is a strong plus. Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth2, and modern app architecture patterns. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. Fluent in Swedish – required for client interaction and documentation. Strong understanding of usability and accessibility standards, especially for healthcare apps. Good to Have: Experience with hybrid app frameworks like Capacitor, Cordova, Flutter, or React Native. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile health apps. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Firebase, AWS, or Azure Health APIs. Exposure to wearable health device integration and BLE.
