In this role, you will be part of our global team, responsible for designing intuitive, impactful, and delightful user experiences for our digital and automation products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create user-centered solutions that drive value for our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Evolve our HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications for Alfa Lava products. Designing user-friendly interfaces for automation products and IoT. Producing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma). Iterating on design solutions based on user feedback and usability testing. Collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Supporting design strategy and contributing to the development and maintenance of design systems. Participating in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Staying up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices. Actively developing both technical and soft skills, with a strong focus on collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning. Who are you You are a self-motivated and versatile designer with a strong interest in creating pioneering, user-centered solutions. You are creative, empathetic, and have strong problem-solving skills. You are comfortable working in a cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary environment. You are open-minded, a team player, and have a high level of attention to detail. What you know We believe you have: A university degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, or a related field. 5+ years working with design systems or UI/UX for complex applications (industrial/HMI is a plus). Strong Figma skills (component libraries, system structuring). Solid understanding of usability/accessibility (colour contrast, touch interfaces, WCAG). Experience collaborating with developers using UI toolkits. Proactive, communicative, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industrial UI standards is a plus (ISA, or similar). During the coming months we will install a full-scale wing on an oceangoing vessel, at the same time, ramping up for commercial contracts. What will you do? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to coordinate customer projects. You will coordinate deliverables against vessel owners, engineering firms, yards and classification societies with the aim of installing our wing sails onboard large oceangoing vessels. On a day-to-day basis you will also work closely across the teams internally. As part of a small technical multidisciplinary team, you will take on diverse tasks and responsibilities in international projects of varied complexity and scale, such as: Navigate through the exciting and challenging field of naval architecture. Coordinate the project implementation and liaise with the external stakeholders. Ensure the project deliverables alignment between the teams internally. Coordinate with teams to develop the project schedule and detailed work breakdown. Initiate and lead feasibility studies. Support in carrying out approval procedures. Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site installation and commissioning in Europe & Asia. Organize and manage activities related to service. Who are you? To succeed in this role, you should have: Practical experience in large projects, commissioning, or service operations. A high technical interest, solution driven and adaptable. A good understanding of product development processes. Strong communication, problem-solving and time management skills. A degree or demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering, naval architecture, electrical engineering, marine engineering or maritime background. Experience of mechanical CAD, preferably CREO. Testing is a central activity in our product development process and is conducted at our state-of-the-art Innovation Center. As the manager of this group, you will be responsible for the development of test methods and routines, as well as ensuring the competence of the team. In collaboration with others, you will contribute to test planning and drive progress in our projects focused on Testing High-Speed Separators. What you know You hold an engineering degree and have 3 to 5 years of management experience. You excel at managing relationships and possess strong technical competence. Your approach is constructive, structured, and systematic. You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
