Om rollen Som maskinoperatör blir du en viktig del av vårt produktionsteam och ingår i ett skiftlag med nära samarbete mellan avdelningarna. Rollen innebär stort eget ansvar där du säkerställer att arbetsmomenten utförs noggrant, säkert och med hög kvalitet. Do you want to turn advanced technology into tangible machine solutions? Join us and take an active role in developing tomorrow’s tissue machine solutions. We are now looking for two Application Engineers in similar roles. In this role, you will focus on designing and visualizing technical solutions using CATIA, playing a key part in shaping detailed machine and component designs already in the early project phases. You will work in a dynamic, global environment where pre-engineering spans everything from complete tissue mills to rebuilds of machines and components. Collaborating closely with sales teams and customers, you will help translate needs into robust technical solutions, combining hands-on design expertise with real customer impact in a role where no project is the same. Your responsibilities You will lead and coordinate pre-engineering activities for projects ranging from full tissue mills to machine rebuilds You will develop technical solutions, specifications, cost estimates, and proposal drawings You will collaborate with product owners, engineering, project management, sourcing, production, and installation teams You will engage with global sales teams and customers to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions You will ensure the most cost-efficient and technically sound solutions are proposed during the pre-project phase Expectations for you You hold a B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering, or have an equivalent technical background You have experience in engineering design, project management, pre-project work, or purchasing You have experience working in CAD tools (preferably CATIA or similar systems) You have strong English skills, both written and spoken Experience from tissue machines, paper industry, or other industrial environments is considered an advantage To succeed in this role You bring a strong technical interest and attention to detail, combined with the ability to structure your work and manage multiple tasks effectively.
