Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter Stödja och utföra praktisk EMC-testning av kundprodukter i vårt laboratorium Hjälpa till att säkerställa att produkter uppfyller relevanta direktiv och produktstandarder Lära dig att läsa, tolka och tillämpa tekniska standarder relaterade till EMC-testning Assistera vid framtagning av tydliga och korrekta testrapporter till kunder Delta i kunddialoger under delar av testprocessen Bidra till felsökning och teknisk problemlösning under tester Hantera mindre projekt med stöd från seniora ingenjörer Samarbeta nära erfarna kollegor för att lära och utvecklas i rollen Din bakgrund Vi tror att du är i början av din karriär och har en stark vilja att lära dig. Som tekniker inom mätteknik får du en bred och varierad roll där du kombinerar praktiskt arbete, kundkontakt och administrativa uppgifter. Du arbetar både självständigt och tillsammans med ett kompetent team av ingenjörer och mättekniker. Arbetet innebär även kundbesök vilket medför cirka 15-20 resdagar med övernattning per år. Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter: Utföra kalibrering och service av olika typer av mätinstrument Verifiera överensstämmelse mot standarder, kundkrav och specifikationer Dokumentera och sammanställa certifikat samt mätprotokoll Kalibrera och justera mätinstrument i labb och hos kund Felsöka och genomföra åtgärdsanalyser vid reklamationer Du blir en viktig del i att säkerställa hög kvalitet och precision i vårt arbete, samtidigt som du bidrar till att utveckla våra interna processer. As a Project Engineer, you will work in our EMC lab, where you will perform practical, hands-on testing of customer products. Your work will ensure compliance with relevant directives and product standards for both consumer and industrial applications. You will work independently in a project-driven role while being part of a collaborative team of experienced engineers. The position combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and problem-solving in a dynamic laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on EMC testing of customer products in our laboratory. Ensure compliance with applicable directives and product standards. Read, interpret, and apply technical standards relevant to testing. Prepare clear and accurate test reports for customers. Work directly with customers, who may participate in parts of the testing. Identify and solve technical challenges during testing. Manage your own projects in a structured and efficient manner. Collaborate with senior engineers to achieve shared team goals.   Your background should involve: Engineering degree or similar, preferably combined with practical experience from the electrical industry. A few years of experience in measurement technology and verification. Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Strong communication skills in English, as you will work with international customers. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues. As a Certification Admin Officer, you will be responsible for managing certification applications, ensuring compliance with the rules and requirements associated with Intertek’s various product certification marks. The role requires strong logical thinking to quickly assess and identify any deficiencies in documentation, as well as a proactive and detail-oriented approach to project administration. You’ll be working with large volumes of data in internal databases and will collaborate closely with both external customers and Intertek offices across Europe, Asia, and North America. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, running until December 2026. Perform testing according to specific protocols and clauses, including Annex U of IEC EN 60335-1 and clause 8.5 of IEC 60947-4-1:2023. Utilize cybersecurity tools and techniques (e.g., Kali Linux, Wireshark, nmap, Fuzzing Tools, Nessus, Burp Suite) during assessments. Analyze communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP, SSH, and wireless standards (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave). Establishing test report formats, evaluation processes and routines and supporting accreditation activities. Participating in Interteks global network of Cyber Security labs, sharing learning and establishing efficient best practices and new services. Collaborating and meeting with customers and external parties, conferences, promoting and representing Intertek as a subject matter expert. Leading and guiding colleagues in day to day management of their testing and evaluation work. Qualifications: Solid experience in cybersecurity assessments, specifically for IoT environments. Familiarity with local and global cybersecurity standards and testing methodologies. Experience with mobile application testing using frameworks such as OWASP MASVS/MSTG. Knowledge of secure coding practices, interface communications (USB, UART, I2C/SPI, RFID/NFC), and common file formats. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or SANS are desirable. An enthusiastic personality with a “can-do” attitude. An interest in leadership roles/activities.
