Firmware Engineer

For our HQ in Älvsjö, Stockholm, we are now looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our Development team. As our Firmware Engineer, you are part of the Development team of around 20 engineers. The team consists of expertise within SW, HW, FW, mechanics, automation and test. The Role Your role will be to ensure a continuation of high-quality products, including maintaining and improving products and validating requirements and technical solutions. You will play an important role as senior technical resource at Sigicom. In general, we are looking for Senior and Mid-level Embedded Software Engineer with C and Python as their main language and good understanding of system architecture. Oversee system performance, product design and troubleshooting of firmware systems and their components. Support planning development activities and perform technical design and code reviews. Interact with hardware and software groups and collaborate closely with hardware engineers. Lead the management of upgrades to existing systems and the implementation of new systems. Write scripts, conduct testing, and handle debugging tasks. Participate in code reviews by providing feedback in a timely manner. Act as mentor and coach to junior engineers. The Profile Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent. Strong programming and code writing skills, and hands-on experience with testing, validation, and debugging tools. Experience in Embedded Software Development of complex software products using C and Python. Experience in Embedded file systems and Embedded Tool Chain. Experience of working with 32-bit MCU’s. cellular modems, BT, GNSS. Experience of real-time OS (like FreeRTOS). Experience with connectivity and automotive is a merit. Strong communications skills. System Architect

For our HQ in Älvsjö, Stockholm, we are now looking for a System Architect to join our Development team. As System Architect, you are part of the Development team of around 20 engineers. The team consists of expertise within SW, HW, FW, mechanical, automation and test. The role of System Architect at Sigicom will play a crucial role in overseeing the infrastructure of the system solutions to ensure that requirements are met, and that performance is evaluated accordingly. The System Architect provides technical guidance, management, and support to the entire Development team. The Role Ensure that the SW&E (Software & Electronics) architecture is suitable for defining efficient system solutions according to company strategies. Ensure that the organization is well-acquainted with the SW&E architecture and takes responsibility for the complete system. Drive our “all things cloud” strategy enhancing services and solutions within the company. Define the architecture of component interactions, interfaces, and technologies and resources in the design and implementation stages. Lead the design, development and execution of software performance and solutions to solve complex technical issues and ensure that criteria and requirements are met. Ensure utilization of software development tools and verification and validation processes. Actively keep an eye on market trends and research and recommend new and emerging technologies and technical trends that could impact and/or add value to Sigicom. Work in close cooperation with our skilled engineers, product owners and Product management. Understand business activities and business drivers, business requirements, and solutions strategies being considered and implemented. Architectural leadership together with the product owners and technical experts. Understanding technology product and vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences. Ensure Cyber security. The Profile You have a solid background in operational leadership and collaboration in teams with system architects and engineers. Several years of operational leadership roles such as program management, RTE, PO, or Scrum leading roles within software architecture, system engineering, and system design. You have a solid technical background with more than 10 years of experience in the development of embedded systems, connected devices and larger scale development organizations to be able to drive system architecture-related work packages. You easily take a systematic approach to coordinate the team efforts to achieve the overall objectives for complete system solutions in the vehicle. Always keep the goal in mind that our software- and electronics- architecture should enable our business. You are structured, and communicative and can use suitable value argumentation in dialogue with stakeholders and the team when empowering the system architects. In-depth knowledge of networked systems and their design, cloud connectivity, data management, and internet protocols. Strong interest in technology, people, business values and high with accountability. Due to the nature of this position, professional levels of Swedish and English are necessary. Financial Manager

This type of monitoring is often required, but also helps companies manage risks and work more efficiently. For our HQ in Älvsjö, Stockholm, we are now looking for a Financial Manager to join our Financial team. The Financial Manager will play an important role in ensuring strong financial health of Sigicom and working closely together with the Finance team in ensuring compliance in Sigicom's financial practices. The Financial Manager reports to the CFO. The role Lead, coach and supervise the Finance team in the daily work of the department, monthly financial statements, and other financial reporting processes including financial control of inventory management. Conducting monthly financial forecasts and monitoring compliance with accounting- and tax legislation. • Prepare and be responsible for reporting at group level and lead the group's finance function to ensure accurate, timely and compliant reporting. • Drive processes for budgets, forecasts, analyses, and follow-up. • Lead the development of the finance department, including policies, processes, and procedures as well as the development of system support with the help of our IT manager. • Evaluate the financial health of Sigicom and provide insights for process optimisation. Analyse industry trends and best practices for the financial procedures. • Collaborate with other functions to ensure that the group's objectives and deadlines are met. • Support the CFO and other members of the management team. Your Profile • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related (essential). • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role as Finance Manager (essential). • Strong experience and expertise in Financial Management and Accounting and Controlling including financial inventory control and management in medium or large companies. • Strong communication skills with a positive mindset in seeing solutions and collaborating with the team. Experience working with a team in being a team leader and mentor in supporting and coaching the team (with various levels of experience). • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems and other financial planning software. We use Oracle NetSuite. • Essential language requirements: Swedish and English (business level), written and spoken. Order Manager

For our HQ in Älvsjö, Stockholm, we are now looking for an Order Manager to join our Supply Chain team. The Order Manager will play an important role in ensuring the best support to our customers, and support the function in operating in an efficient way. The Order Manager reports to the Supply Chain Manager. The Role: Due to the nature of the role, the right person will have a cross-functional role, supporting other functions such as Sales in customer interactions and ensuring up-to-date information in our CRM system. Main areas of responsibilities: • Invoicing and invoice management: handle the complete process from quotation to invoice, and the process of crediting and administrating customs orders. • Manage the administrative part of the calibration process: invoicing and service (service agreements, service parts, warranty repairs, and recommendations on cost setup). • Manage purchasing process of components such as spare parts, set deadlines, and forecast management. • Manage and handle delivery planning between our functions within Supply Chain in Rental, Service and Calibration. • Analyse best practices; develop and implement efficient processes and structure within Order Management. • Support Inside Sales with updated and active customer information in CRM system based on orders and prospects, and act as focal point in direct contact with our customers. The Profile: • Diploma, degree or courses in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business management, Technical field, or equivalent. • Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar roles and functions (from small- to medium organisations). • Financial understanding in invoicing and financial administration and management. • Solution-oriented and ability to analyse best practice in recommending and implementing new, efficient processes in a technical environment. • Strong communication skills. Due to nature of role in terms of financial administration and customer interaction, we are looking for candidates who are fluent both in Swedish and English. (Other languages such as French and/or German is a benefit but not a requirement). • Ability to travel for work (around once per quarter).
