Role overview We are looking for a Development Manager who is passionate about people, software development and building high-performing engineering teams. In this role, you will lead and support a few development teams while working closely with Product Owners, Architects and other stakeholders to create high-quality software solutions. As a Development Manager, your primary focus will be leadership, team development, delivery and creating an environment where engineers can thrive and do their best work. We also believe you are curious about emerging technologies and interested in how AI can support software development, collaboration and innovation. Key responsibilities Lead, coach and support some development teams Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing engineering culture Support team members in their professional growth and development Ensure effective ways of working, agile processes and continuous improvement Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliveries Drive recruitment, onboarding and team development activities Help teams remove obstacles and improve delivery capabilities Follow up on team goals, performance, engagement and work environment Encourage experimentation and learning around new technologies, including AI-driven tools and workflows Role qualifications We believe you have the following experience, capabilities and personal skills to succeed in this role: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field Previous experience in a leadership role within software development A background in software engineering or technical product development Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience working with agile development methodologies The ability to balance people management with business and delivery needs A coaching and supportive leadership style An interest in AI and how new technologies can improve the way teams work and deliver software Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken What we offer This is a full-time, permanent position, located at our Växjö office. At IST, we apply an office-first policy, meaning we primarily work from the office as we believe physical presence fosters collaboration, innovation, and a strong team spirit. At the same time, we understand the importance of flexibility—if you live farther away, working from the office three days a week with the remaining time remote may be possible.

Om rollen Som Produktägare på IST har du en central roll i att omsätta produktvision och strategi till konkreta lösningar som skapar värde för våra användare. Du arbetar nära utvecklingsteam, UX-designers, produktchefer och andra intressenter för att säkerställa att rätt funktionalitet utvecklas vid rätt tidpunkt. Du ansvarar för att bryta ner affärsbehov till tydliga krav, user stories och acceptanskriterier samt för att prioritera teamets backlog utifrån produktvision, roadmap och kundvärde. Du är utvecklingsteamets främsta kontaktpunkt i krav- och prioriteringsfrågor och skapar tydlighet genom hela utvecklingsprocessen. Vi befinner oss samtidigt på en spännande utvecklingsresa där AI blir en allt viktigare del av vårt arbetssätt. Som Produktägare förväntas du vara nyfiken på nya verktyg och aktivt utforska hur AI kan bidra till bättre analyser, effektivare arbetsflöden, snabbare beslutsfattande och ännu större kundvärde Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter Bryta ner teman och initiativ till epics, user stories och tydliga acceptanskriterier. Säkerställa att utvecklingsteamet har väl definierade, prioriterade och utvecklingsbara krav. Äga, prioritera och underhålla produktens backlog. Vara utvecklingsteamets främsta kontaktperson för kravförtydliganden och prioriteringar. Säkerställa att leveranser stödjer produktvision, roadmap och affärsmål. Delta i release- och förvaltningsarbete tillsammans med relevanta intressenter. Samarbeta nära kunder, användare och interna intressenter för att förstå behov och skapa värde. Bidra till utvecklingen av nya arbetssätt där AI och modern teknik används för att stärka produktutvecklingen. Om dig Vi söker dig som har ett starkt driv, god struktur och förmåga att skapa tydlighet i komplexa sammanhang. Du trivs i samarbetet mellan verksamhet och utveckling och motiveras av att omsätta behov till lösningar som gör verklig skillnad för användarna. För att lyckas i rollen: Relevant högskole- eller universitetsutbildning inom systemvetenskap, datavetenskap, mjukvaruutveckling, informatik, industriell ekonomi eller annan utbildning som arbetsgivaren bedömer likvärdig. Erfarenhet av kravanalys, verksamhetsanalys, systemanalys eller produktutveckling inom IT. Erfarenhet av att arbeta i agila utvecklingsmiljöer. God förståelse för mjukvaruutveckling och digitala produkter. Förmåga att prioritera, fatta beslut och skapa fokus kring det som skapar störst värde. Mycket god kommunikativ förmåga på svenska och engelska. Ett stort eget ansvarstagande och förmåga att driva arbete framåt. Ett starkt intresse för AI och ny teknik. Nyfikenhet kring hur AI-verktyg kan användas för att effektivisera analys, kravhantering, dokumentation och beslutsfattande. Vilja att bidra till IST:s fortsatta utveckling där AI är en naturlig del av hur vi arbetar och skapar värde för våra kunder. Det är meriterande om du tidigare har arbetat som Produktägare, Business Analyst, Kravanalytiker eller i en liknande roll.
