Myntro is a company in the middle of a transformation, shifting toward a more product- and technology-driven, data-enabled business. We are looking for System Developers who want to join that journey and help build our future. Are you a builder who enjoys digging into legacy systems, untangling complex technical debt, and rebuilding for scale? Then keep reading!About The Role As a System Developer at Myntro, you’ll work on systems at the heart of our debt collection and investment business across Europe. The work is both operationally important and deeply human. Many of the people our systems serve are in stressful or vulnerable situations, and the products, workflows, and automation you help build will directly influence their experience. You’ll spend part of your time improving and stabilizing existing systems, and part designing and building new services and capabilities from scratch. Most of your work will fall somewhere in between. You'll work closely with the business, alongside skilled colleagues in tech and product, and contribute to technical decisions that have real impact, both day-to-day and long-term. In this role, you will: Design, build, and maintain systems, services, and integrations. Improve and simplify existing solutions in a complex technical landscape. Build new services and capabilities where they create real business value. Work across both modern cloud and large-scale on-prem environments. Contribute to architecture, technical direction, and long-term modernization. Raise the bar on code quality, testing, and how we build. Who You Are We are looking for someone who likes real engineering work. You enjoy understanding how systems actually behave, identifying weak points, and improving them. You're not afraid of complexity, and you're just as motivated by improving what exists as by building something new. You take ownership, care about quality, and like building things that hold up in production. You're pragmatic, collaborative, and comfortable in an environment where some things need rebuilding while others are being built for the first time. AI-assisted development isn't new to you; it's already part of how you work. You have your own setup, your own opinions, and you're paying attention to where the craft is heading. That matters here. We're actively building AI into both how we develop and what we deliver, and we need people who are already leaning in, not catching up. We see that you likely have: Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of software development experience, ideally in production-critical environments. Strong .NET / C# backend skills. Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and data flows. Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms. Good communication skills in Swedish and English. Experience from regulated or complex environments is a plus, but not a requirement. Why join Myntro? At Myntro, you'll work on systems that are central to how the business operates, in an environment with real room to improve, simplify, and build for the future. We're in the middle of a meaningful shift toward stronger engineering, clearer product thinking, and better technical foundations, and there's plenty left to shape. This is a good place for developers who want to do more than maintain what already exists. You'll be part of a team that's expected to think, build, and improve together. Our culture is built on care, accountability, and the belief that the best results come from working together. Collaboration, customer focus, personal accountability, and simplicity are how we actually make decisions, not just words on a wall. Interested? Welcome to apply! Sounds like your next challenge? We review applications and interview on a rolling basis, so don't wait too long to apply. The role is full-time and based at our head office in central Gothenburg. For questions regarding the role or recruitment process, please contact Azra Semic, our Talent Acquisition Specialist – [email protected]. Welcome with your application!
