Web Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team at Opera. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality web applications that run seamlessly across various devices and platforms. You will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies such as React, Tailwind and Vue.js, as well as other cutting-edge tools and frameworks. You will be part of a small, focused and supportive team of developers, QAs and business developers. We use Lean principles for day-to-day work and the best technical practices while striving to make the blockchain available to everyone. Role & Responsibilities: Work with the team to develop new features Build pixel-perfect front-ends from design and interaction mockups Take part in overall design, architecture and tech stack discussions Review the client code of other developers Integrate back- and front-end components Adapt to and learn new technologies and frameworks Job Requirements: Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML 5 and CSS 3 Proficient understanding of native JavaScript Experience with any framework, e.g. Vue, React, Angular, Svelte, etc. Web development skills, including: Design of overall architecture of web applications Building reusable code and libraries for future use Optimization of applications for speed and scalability Good understanding of git Fluency in English, both written and spoken Engineering knowledge: your code should be well-structured and comprehensible by other humans, not just computers It would be huge advantage if you have: Strong knowledge of web technologies Experience developing features for a mass-market consumer product Diversity and Inclusion At Opera diversity and inclusion are central to our values. Backend Developer

Opera is looking for a Backend Developer to join our mobile backend team. You will be a part of a small, focused and supportive team with developers, QA´s and business developers. We use Lean principles for day to day work and best technical practices. In the role you will work with developing and shipping services for our mobile product. We also understand that work life balance is important to be able to perform and offer flexible working hours. Role & Responsibilities: Support and develop new features for the backend. Creating automated (unit & API) tests for your code. Take part in overall design & architecture discussions. Job Requirements: Advanced experience with Golang and features of the language (goroutines, channels, etc). Strong communication skills. Good understanding of web systems and protocols. Understanding of how to use a performance profiler and memory allocations. Software development skills, such as architecture design, reusable code, optimization for speed and scalability, and integration of front-end/back-end aspects of web applications. Good understanding of version control systems like git. Understanding of CI and CD principles. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Understanding of distributed systems. It would be huge advantage if you have: Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum. Understanding containerization like Docker. About the job We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team to lead our data collection and analysis for MiniPay, an easy-to-use dollar wallet built on blockchain technology.
