They are responsible for major components from concept, design, verification, and product launch. They provide technical leadership, particularly in tooled parts, and inspire and guide team to successful product launches. The project is long term & 100% onsite work commitment is required at Trollhätan office location. Tasks Exterior dept. is now looking for a Lead Design Engineer with excellent CATIA skills that prefer the industrial phase and finalize the parts for tooling setup. The detailed design work is done inhouse, in close collaboration with suppliers and mold flow engineers. We expect you to have expertise towards designing knowledge in Exterior design and be self-driven. The work principles within the Exterior Systems is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area. Qualifications - Bsc. or above in Mechanical Engineering - 7-10 years min experience working with a Major OEM or reputed Tier 1 supplier - Strong experience in CATIA V5 (7-10 years+ Automotive R&D only) - Passion for details in creating robust and reliable designs for mission-critical applications. - Proficiency using CAD and advanced analysis tools to design components and assemblies and to create technical drawings in a PDM environment. The project is ong term & 100% onsite work commitment is required at Trollhättan-Sweden location. The start date is asap. Tasks - Complete loops of virtual build to validate product and process as design matures. - Part analysis of all new parts within Tool kick-off /release window. - Creation and maintenance of build sequence within Delmia based on process documentation. - Generation and validation of product based on configured BoM for the complete vehicle within Delmia. - For each process, completion of virtual build checklist against part number in assembly context. - Validation of the product and project-specific manufacturing assembly sequence within Delmia. - Maintenance of all reports and KPI charts relevant to virtual analysis. - Close working with Feasibility and DFM engineers. - Work with Client teams to support the resolution of issues identified through virtual build. - Delivery of regular virtual build reviews with client teams. We have open position for "Infotainment SW Test Engineer" to work for a premium electric car brand in Gothenburg-Sweden. As an Infotainment SW test engineer, you are responsible for the verification of parts of the Infotainment systems as within Enabling Platform Verification Department, Feature Verification Team. The team consists of three main areas of responsibility; verification in domain and subsystem within Infotainment, Motion and ADAS. The teams focus is on sub-system as well in vehicle and function verification and delivers tested and reported SW into Integration activities. Tasks • Be a part of excuting the verification plans within EPV area. • Execute the verification work in sub areas in the daily test activities in the Infotainment test team • Involvement in the execution of testing for E2E • Reporting test progress to the Test leader onwards to System team validation for the Infotainment verification area and project team. Also identify and escalate verification risks to management. • Contributing to a culture of improvement and encourage colleagues to implement improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Qualifications • Minimum B.Sc.
