Senior Hardware & Electronics Engineer

About the job We are hiring a Senior Hardware & Electronics Engineer to our skilled R&D department. To build our renewable power solutions we need an expert within hardware design with focus on power converters, switches, BMS power electronics and power distributions. The role also includes participating in pre-studies of new applications and new technologies as well as supporting both internal and external stakeholders with technical expertise. The position is to be based at the Polarium headquarter in Stockholm. Responsibility: - HW design in AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters. - Design power converters in ranges 30V-1kV, 100W-500kW. - Design high-power solid-state switches. - Develop team tools and methods together with the team. - Participate in process improvements and ways of working. - Design modularized design blocks with re-use capabilities. - Act as mentor and technical lead for power designs. You have relevant experience from similar positions, and you have a good understanding of agile development as well as enjoy working in a fast-growing company environment. Qualifications and experience: - Proven track record in power electronics, switching and power conversion. - Preferably experience in batteries. - Experience from using application specific software. - English-speaking skills, both spoken and in writing. - Speak and understand Swedish. - Relevant higher education. - Swedish work permit. Delivery Project Manager

We develop and manufacture turnkey energy storage solutions, based on lithium-ion battery technology. You’ll have the opportunity to work with exceptional engineers, scientists, developers and more, to pave the way for the next big leap in the energy industry through our battery energy storage and optimization systems. This is a permenant full-time position with a placement in Stockholm and you will report to the Head of EO Deliveries. Start date after agreement but as soon as possible. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Leading projects deploying Polarium Energy Systems at customer premises. - Project management of multiple parallel customer projects from site engineering through to operations handover. - Ensure deployment projects are delivered according to all relevant safety and quality standards within the agreed schedule. - Planning and coordination of field services, logistics and acceptance activities. - Scope of works, RACI, schedule & MOPs development and maintenance. - Regular project delivery status reporting including plan vs. actual. - Capacity planning and risk management procedures in establishing actions to meet projects delivery schedules. - Ability to travel on a regular basis. The first couple of months, travelling will be ~50% of the time, learning the installation and commissioning of the system.
